RHORI Recap: Liz Calls Out Alicia Over Her “Homeless” Comment, Kelsey Accuses Rosie of Affairs With Married Men as Their Feud Intensifies, and Rulla Slams Jo-Ellen as a “Douche”

First it’s Rosie vs. Kelsey.  Now it’s Alicia vs. Liz.  The ladies of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island don’t stop bringing the drama, even if it means tears will be shed and feelings might get hurt… Just as one fire gets put out, another sparks, causing long-term friendships to crack under the pressure.

Rosie is high off of kicking Kelsey out of her home, but Kelsey is fuming.  She calls Liz and reports the news.  Kelsey denies being anyone’s “slam pig;” in fact, she claims she has only slept with six guys her entire life.  According to Kelsey, Rosie has slept with two married men, one of which paid her off not to talk about their relationship.  This explains why Rosie is able to afford things…like her house. Kelsey wants to send Rosie a Venmo charge for her gas and complains that Rosie is just not honest with her.

Ashley and her husband, Jared, are busy shopping at Restaurant Depot. They will be hosting a trivia night to help create success and buzz at Audrey’s.  Ashley’s idea is to try and make Jared happy, but when she talks to Rosie, she realizes she can’t make everyone happy. Rosie fills Ashley in on the drama with Kelsey and states that if Kelsey is attending the event, she will not be coming. Rosie does not feel like Kelsey wants to be nice and says that she is not interested in being a part of anything with Kelsey.

Alicia meets Rulla at the beach and they chat about their kids until a woman comes over and interrupts. She is an old friend of Jo-Ellen‘s, but no longer talks to her because Jo-Ellen is too much of a pot-stirrer. This proves Rulla’s point exactly. Rulla would rather not be at trivia night with Jo-Ellen and explains that she would prefer to distance herself from Jo-Ellen for her own protection.

Rulla is having a hard time wrapping her mind around the fact that her husband was unfaithful to her, but Alicia still cannot deliver the brutal news about THE video. Alicia realizes that Rulla is financially stable without her husband, but she worries because she does not feel empowered.  According to Rulla, Alicia needs to figure out how to protect herself and stop relying on Billy. It’s time for Alicia to claim her stake in Pizza Mama and get her financial ducks in a row.

Contrary to what Rosie said, Kelsey claims she doesn’t suck d*ck for gifts.  Kelsey went from one boyfriend to another boyfriend, and she is happy to have Bill be her plus one for a triple date with Liz, Jo-Ellen, and their men. They hear Kelsey’s side of the story with Rosie and we learn that Rosie called Jo-Ellen to share her account of Kelsey, the square footage police.  Kelsey laughs that Rosie said her career is “d*ck sucking” and that she is a slam-pig.

Because of this fight, Rosie will not go to trivia night if Kelsey goes, but Kelsey will go to support Ashley and Jared.  Kelsey is not the lying b*tch at the end of the day.

Kelsey explains that her ex asks for nothing in return, but still fronts a lot of her lifestyle. Bill, the new boyfriend, feels like it’s not the ex’s job to take care of Kelsey.  Once Kelsey gets serious with Bill, her ex will not pay for it.  But Kelsey states, “I don’t want to be homeless like Alicia.”

Liz explains that Alicia has always had a very good life and she lived with her grandma…not out on the streets.  Liz goes on to say she has a soft spot for Alicia and was there for her when she was a child…BUT she was never homeless. Seems like Alicia exaggerated a little bit and may be hanging out with Rosie a little too much…

Kelsey and Rosie are both coming to trivia night, and so Ashley is a nervous wreck, considering this is her place of business AND she does not like conflict. Ashley’s grand plan is to keep the ladies separated.  She puts Alicia, Kelsey, and Jo-Ellen at one table to try and keep things safe. Rosie explains to Liz that she felt disrespected at her own house and mocked, but is it that she just can’t take a joke?

Kelsey arrives late, donning a Miss Slam Pig Sash.  Dead.  Kelsey wears it with pride and Ashley does not know what to do with this mess. Alicia realizes that Rosie has been picked on a lot lately and is tired of it happening. The whole gang comes over to Rosie’s table, Kelsey included.

Alicia worries about defending Rosie, as Rosie claims that Kelsey attacked her. Ashley does what she can to stop the bickering as Rosie threatens Kelsey to “buckle up” because she is not letting things go anymore. Rosie does not feel like Kelsey ever listens to her and calls her a loser. The girls hide under the table as Rosie and Kelsey continue to bicker. The fight escalates and Rosie storms off, claiming the clique needs to stop cliquing.

Alicia has decided to take baby steps with Rulla’s advice, so she makes a poster with her new business ideas for Pizza Mama and utilizes their daughter to try and promote her plans. Alicia just wants to be compensated for helping Billy. She is tired of relying on a man, but Billy explains he has an estate plan where it would all go to Alicia. Alicia is having a hard time trusting Billy, considering her dad abandoned her and so, she wants to have some ownership of future Pizza Mammas. Billy realizes that she should be compensated for all of her hard work and Alicia is thrilled to write up a contract agreeing to this.

Rosie apologizes to Ashley for what happened at trivia night, considering they made quite the scene. Rosie admits to seeing red and does not want to be anywhere near Kelsey. Rosie is planning a trip to Boston and wants everyone to come watch her husband, Rich, perform as Frank Sinatra…well everyone, except Kelsey.

Rosie explains that she met Rich when he was the on-air producer for a radio station and Rosie got to be in his music video. All the girls, minus Rulla (who never got back to Rosie) and Kelsey (who is no longer invited) will be attending Rich’s show. Rosie is certainly not about to let Kelsey come to her husband’s place of work and ruin things.

Jo-Ellen, Liz, and Alicia carpool to Rich’s concert.  They chat about Kelsey not attending the event and Liz realizes how stubborn Rosie and Kelsey are. Alicia shares that she told her mom that she talked to the ladies about her dad. Liz switches spots with Jo-Ellen because she wants to address Alicia’s “homeless” conversation. Losing a family home does not equate to being homeless in Liz’s eyes.  Alicia is not talking about Liz’s family and her life and so, right now, according to Alicia, Liz is a “snake.” Even Jo-Ellen’s husband said Alicia was never homeless. Liz realizes that she cannot take away the way Alicia feels, but Alicia thinks that Liz was too busy trying to “dissect” how she felt and what she said. Alicia feels like Liz showed her “real colors.”

Alicia does not take Liz’s apology seriously and is beyond annoyed with Liz. When Alicia’s dad left, she was left with nothing.  He ripped her childhood from her and Liz claims that she did not mean to invalidate Alicia’s feelings. Liz was trying to protect Alicia’s family, and thought she was doing the right thing by being more careful with the language.

When Jo-Ellen tries to mediate the situation, Liz has had enough.  Liz is sick of Jo-Ellen being fake and phony, acting as the voice of reason, and making Liz the bad guy. The night before, Jo-Ellen was siding with Liz, and now suddenly, Jo-Ellen is trying to side with Alicia? Liz promises that she was not trying to dissect or invalidate anything that Alicia was saying.  Alicia cries looking out the window and all I can think is someone please give her a cracker! To be continued…
