A cast shakeup is reportedly coming to Summer House on the heels of “Scamanda,” which saw the reveal of Amanda Batula and West Wilson‘s shocking romance.
Following West’s exit from the series, an insider has revealed new details about what the season 11 cast will look like, including which member of the show will be front and center, whose role has been reduced ahead of production, and what storylines viewers can expect to see on the upcoming episodes.
“The producers are betting it all on [Ciara Miller],” an insider revealed to The U.S. Sun on June 22. “What Ciara wants, she will get in order to come back so count on her to be leading the charge next season. Bravo fully views her as the star of the show and the future of the franchise, and they need her to return. They will basically pay up or do whatever it takes to make that happen and so far, it’s working.”
According to the source, producers are restructuring the show around Ciara, 30, and demoting Amanda, 34.
“Amanda is expected to come back in a more limited role,” the source said. “Ciara is open to filming certain scenes with Amanda and agreed to do so for the audience, along with select scenes with the cast. But Amanda will not be back full-time. Next season of Summer House will look entirely different than audiences are used to. It will be a fresh start with an entirely new feeling for the show as a whole.”
While Kyle Cooke, 43, denied he was leaving the show in a post shared on Instagram days ago, the source suggested that he would be stepping back to focus more of his time on his beverage company, Loverboy.
The insider went on to note that the season 11 storylines would be centered around the falling out between Amanda and West, 31, and Ciara and Kyle, noting that Lindsay Hubbard, 39, Carl Radke, 41, and Jesse Solomon, 32, would also be featured.
Regarding the rest of the cast, including KJ Dillard, 28, Mia Calabrese, 34, Bailey Taylor, 30, and Levi Sebree, 29, the outlet said their returns have not yet been determined.
Summer House season 11 is expected to begin production sometime in July.
