Dorit Kemsley used Erika Jayne‘s past shade against her book to promote her new memoir, Unburdened, which hits stores and online retailers on Tuesday.
As attorney Ronald Richards confirmed that her home foreclosure was just days away, the 49-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who is in the midst of a messy divorce from estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley, 58, looked back on Erika’s suggestion that she wouldn’t write her book herself, nor would it ever make it to publication.
“I’m really glad that [Amanda Frances] wrote [her] book all [herself]. I did not. Dorit definitely will not, because it’ll never come out,” Erika, 54, alleged on an episode of RHOBH.
Dorit was then seen signing her book and winking at the camera as she added, “You were saying…” in a caption with a nail painting emoji.

Although Dorit seemed to be making a point, her audience was left confused.
“I don’t get it … she said you’d use a co-writer (aka ghost writer) and you did. No shame but … she was right,” one person stated.
Another asked, “Are you forgetting you already admitted on camera you used a ghost writer … thus proving Erika is correct? You’re not doing what you think you are … but nonetheless, I’m proud of you for getting the book out. I hope it does well.”
“But [Erika Jayne] was right, you used a ghost writer. Don’t mess with MISS ERIKA,” added a third.

In other Dorit Kemsley news, her $6.5 million home is still set to be foreclosed upon on Wednesday. And, because her LLC is not in good standing, she can’t delay or stop the proceedings by filing for bankruptcy.
“Dorit Kemsley, since Paul got her a temporary reprieve from the foreclosure now set for June 3, 2026 at 10:30am, has not signed any new court papers, has not moved out, and has not fixed her suspended LLC that owns the house … We believe Paul is using his superior business acumen to get a deal with the 1st so it can be reinstated. The second will then back off as they will not be concerned with being wiped out. Dorit has no funds left to reinstate the first and is entirely dependent on Paul to fix this. Dorit can easily sell her own goods on Poshmark which consists of a phalanx of purses, clothes, and jewelry but won’t do it. She believes that Paul needs to pay for all of this and she is never going to move near a main road,” Ronald explained.
“Stay tuned for a wild week ahead,” he added.
