Heather Gay reacted to Lisa Barlow overlining her lips at dinner on Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City while appearing on Watch What Happens Live after the show.

As she also addressed Lisa’s suggestion that she was jealous of her being picked for Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, reflected on catching boyfriend Tripp texting other women, and spoke of where she stands with Mary Cosby, 53, Heather weighed in on Whitney Rose, 40, filing for divorce from husband Justin Rose, 58, and looked ahead to Bronwyn Newport‘s role on The Traitors.

“I think it’s a bit,” Heather, 52, said of Lisa’s lip lining on the October 7 episode of WWHL. “I overline, but just not in public at dinner … Why would you do it at dinner?”

Moving on to Tripp, Heather confirmed they’d been dating for a year after first hooking up back in 2019 after a meeting at her beauty lounge.

“It got super serious super fast,” she said of their past courtship. “It was an eight-week tumultuous spin and like … I did [catch him texting another woman].”

As for whether she was concerned that history would repeat itself, Heather first said, “every day,” before noting that both she and Tripp were different people than they were years ago.

“That’s why I love him … He’s a completely changed man and so am I in many ways,” she explained.

According to Heather, Tripp quit drinking and is a lot more stable. And, because her children have flown the coop, she feels she can “take some risks” at this point in her life.

Regarding claims of Tripp using her for fame, Heather said that he had been pursuing her prior to her joining RHOSLC.

“He texted me for six years,” she clarified.

When asked about Lisa saying that she and the RHOSLC cast were jealous of her role on Roaring 20th, Heather pointed out that she had already participated in a season of RHUGT.

“I went on Ultimate Girls Trip. I did Ultimate Girls Trip Thailand season [three]. Obviously, she didn’t know that,” Heather stated. “[And] she actually didn’t know me in college. So, not surprising. And yeah, not jealous. That was just like an unfortunate runoff of unresolved conflict from reunion and Greece and a lot of things that we have now resolved.”

After joking that Lisa “was jealous [she] went on it first,” Heather insisted the two of them were in a great place now before admitting, “I cannot believe she said that that recently. That shocks me and upsets me, actually.”

Heather also addressed Mary revealing that she fast-forwarded through her scenes, saying, “Mary and I are good. We’ve texted privately, and Mary doesn’t fast forward through me when it matters.”

Then, after suspecting Bronwyn, 41, would “do well” on Traitors due to her fashion alone, Heather admitted she was surprised by Whitney’s divorce filing.

“I was surprised. I really thought it was a chapter of estrangement,” she said. “I’ve texted with Whitney, and I’m … You know, divorce is very, very difficult. It was horrendously difficult for me, but I can’t imagine navigating it with the public and the personal and the kids, and so I’m just rooting for her and thinking of her.”

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Heather was asked how she felt about the diabolical/diablo debacle after learning that Ashley Quai had compared her to Taco Bell’s diablo sauce, rather than shaded her as diabolical.

“Oh my gosh, I feel terrible. I heard diabolical,” she explained. “I mean, Zofran on a yacht is not diabolical. I mean, a little bit diabolical, but not. I mean, it’s just funny. It’s just kind of housewife plug-and-play. Tradecraft at its core. Like, the words get switched, and they were emphatic that she had called you diabolical.”

“[But] I am diabolical, man,” she added. “I read the definition. Some of the words. Some of them don’t. Mary said I wasn’t, and Mary speaks truth. She also skips my scenes, so she may not know.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season seven airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
