On this episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Tia’s mom is visiting for three months, which may help ease the marital tension ever since the dating app scandal.
Courtney hosts a birthday party for her husband, Alexis, in hopes of getting the men of the group together, but the only thing that comes from the event is a whole lot of drama. Ashley did a great job of stirring the pot, and Gizelle is on blast. Stacey throws some shade in Courtney’s direction, and Robyn and Gizelle’s podcast continues to be the center of attention.
Karen shares that her relationship with her husband has been in trouble way before her recovery. (Remember when he said “I think I love her?”) She is leaning into her trauma therapist, and although she is a reality star, she understands that this needs to be done for JUST her. AKA: No cameras will be entering the session.
Gizelle meets Robyn, and they wait for Ashley — what else is new? Robyn has noticed that Ashley is not the same version of herself, but Gizelle is hell-bent on making them okay together.
Robyn is finding herself in trouble for her podcast, when in reality, all she is doing is talking about the news. Robyn explains that Wendy does not appreciate what was said, but Gizelle has no sympathy. She continues to say that Wendy is scamming people.
Ashley takes this opportunity to tell Robyn she is hurt by the podcast, too. It seems like Gizelle is driving this wedge between Ashley and Robyn, especially since Ashley has sort of taken on the role of Gizelle’s bestie.
Robyn wishes that Gizelle and Ashley would stop losing sight of real life. Gizelle should have gone to Tia with that information about her husband, but they just laugh, thinking that Robyn called them delusional.
Thiemo and Stacey head out for a lovely one-on-one dinner. They discuss their relationship and share how hard it was to get back onto the same page. Her ex wants Stacey to be more responsible financially, and she admits that the divorce taught her to be better with money. In the midst of their conversation, Stacey’s dog comes to the table wearing an engagement ring, and Thiemo re-proposes to Stacey. They decide they will get married soon before he changes his mind. Lol?
Wendy and Gizelle have a date. Wendy has donated to the National Brain Tumor Society in Gizelle’s father’s name, which is huge considering the current state of their relationship… which is even more of a reason for Wendy to be upset that Gizelle is openly calling her a scammer. Wendy points out the cultural implications as a Nigerian, and Gizelle admits she did not think about that. Gizelle apologizes, but now that Wendy knows who Gizelle really is, she will keep that in mind.
Gizelle changes the subject to her Congress visit. She will be telling her story about her dad and asks for advice from Wendy, who is a great public speaker.
Tia shows Courtney and her husband Alexis around a potential new home. DC has really been the place where they want to set some roots because they are tired of renting. Courtney talks about her life as an event planner, and she lets Tia know that she will be throwing a birthday party for Alexis. Husbands and wives will be invited.
Gizelle and Ashley hold a workout wellness day for GnA. They continue to hold events for charities near and dear to their hearts. Robyn joins, and they discuss the upcoming birthday party for Courtney’s husband.
Gizelle lets the ladies know how amazing Wendy was advising her about Congress, and Robyn chats about the podcast. She knows that Tia is most concerned about telling her kids, but Gizelle is out here running her mouth while reading a listener’s letter. Gizelle hinted at Tia’s situation on air, but luckily, Robyn edited it out. Robyn is wondering why Gizelle is not worried about being a friend. Gizelle makes it clear it is not their job to put Tia’s “business in the streets.”
Courtney knows what she is doing throwing a party — don’t forget she planned Cynthia Bailey’s wedding. Courtney is excited to celebrate her husband AND for him to meet all the husbands… well, not Karen’s husband. She simply did not invite him. Tia comes husbandless, as well. So much for the men being in attendance.
Gizelle takes this moment to confront Tia for telling Wendy about the “s” word. That’s something they will be revisiting, but Monique enters the party. Tia brings it back, and she states that it is rich of Gizelle to say what can be said and what cannot be said. Ashley told Tia that Gizelle took her business to the podcast. Ashley claims she filled her in so that Tia could get in front of it, but it just sounds messy to me.
Gizelle tells Tia she won’t be telling her anything anymore. Tia does not want a friendship with Gizelle because it means that so long as Gizelle can get a check, it doesn’t matter who she throws under the bus. Tia is trying to protect her children and feels like Gizelle is itching to get the information out.
When Robyn enters the party, Robyn confirms that Gizelle alluded to her situation on the podcast, and this forces Gizelle to admit that she did say it. Looks like Robyn is finally holding people accountable.
No one brought their plus one to this party, which is awkward when Courtney brings the birthday boy out to meet the group. Ashley is late, but she is now the “star of the night” since she is the one who told Tia about the podcast snafu.
When Ashley arrives, she brings her boo, one of the only guys at the party. More and more people trickle in, and the women hear about Stacey’s re-engagement. They are all very excited to be having a wedding… again. Stacey states that she has a wedding planner… who is very “credible,” which sounds like the ultimate dig at Courtney.
Courtney points out that Stacey called her a few weeks ago, and it felt like Stacey was prepping her to be the planner. Stacey shades out describing Courtney’s event, and luckily the tension is broken the minute Cynthia makes her entrance. Courtney confides to Cynthia that these ladies are crazy.
Ashley admits that she thought it was weird of Robyn to talk about Gizelle’s podcast edit in FRONT of people. What a reach. Robyn makes it clear that Gizelle talked sh*t, so she is not the bad guy.

Ashley and Robyn got into a screaming match during dinner on the RHOP
Robyn reminds Ashley that she is the one who started the whole thing by going on stage and laughing at Tia’s situation. The ladies get into a screaming match, going back and forth talking about who is messier, which is laughable. The attention finally gets brought back to the birthday boy, and the night ends with a (forced) toast.
