The tenth season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres tonight and one major topic of conversation will be all about Kenya Moore’s secret wedding to husband Marc Daly!
The 46-yr-old Bravo reality star eloped back in June and surprised fans of the show when she married Marc, 47, on June 10 on a romantic beach in St. Lucia.
So who is Marc Daly? What does he do for a living? How did they meet? Find out all about Marc below!
1. He’s a Successful Business Man
Marc is a former investment banker, and an entrepreneur with an MBA. He’s not only a successful business man, but also a restaurateur as he owns the popular New York restaurant SoCo located in Brooklyn.
2. He’s Close to Another Bravo Reality Star!
Marc is good friends with Chef Roble Ali, aka the star of Bravo’s Chef Roble and Co. In fact it was Chef Roble who introduced Kenya and Marc last December, and as they say the rest is history. Following their wedding, Chef Roble took to Instagram to wish them well. He wrote, “I’m so happy for y’all! When I introduced you two I KNEW y’all would hit it off but this is just WOW! You got a GREAT man Kenya!!! That’s my man right there. I’m tryna be like him when I grow up! Congrats y’all!!!”
3. He’s a Father but Wants More Kids
Marc is already a father from a previous relationship but Kenya has revealed her hubby would still like to have more children. “We both want to start a family and soon — like, right away,” said Kenya to PEOPLE. “We both want a child.” Kenya has reportedly been actively trying to conceive since tying the knot. And back in June, Kenya took to her Instagram to wish him a happy Father’s Day! She wrote, “To my husband, Happy Father’s Day to you and all the great Dads. We met a year ago but didn’t speak again until December. Since we reconnected you have been my everything, my one and only, my heart…I love you.”
4. He and Kenya Moved Very Fast Before Eloping
Kenya and Marc wasted no time in getting married as the two tied the knot just 7 months after they first met. Kenya has revealed they met and started dating in December of 2016, and got married on June 10. Kenya however makes it clear that she knew very early into the relationship that Marc was the one and would have married him within 30 days of dating each other. “I always strongly believed I don’t want to get married just for the sake of getting married,” said Kenya. “I’ve never been that girl and I will never be that girl. Which is why, if it’s not what I feel in my heart and my soul, I will not do it. I will not do it for cameras, I will not do it for somebody else to feel good about who I am. I have to do it for myself.”
5. He’s Very Private
While Marc has been described as being “extremely romantic,” by wife Kenya, he is also very big on privacy. In fact, he refused to film any scenes for RHOA and reportedly did not sign any release forms so it’s unclear if Bravo will be able to show any photos of him on the show. In a preview clip from the upcoming season (posted below), Kenya doesn’t even say his name but simply refers to him as “Baby”. Marc’s refusal to join the circus film with Kenya reportedly caused a lot of drama with RHOA producers behind the scenes, and it’s rumored Bravo is considering firing her over it. Wowzers.
So there you have it! Must say, he seems like a good catch. The new season of RHOA returns tonight to Bravo at 8/7c.
