The Real Housewives of Potomac are back!
Moments ago, Bravo announced the RHOP season 3 returns on April 1st at 10/9c. The network also released the new season trailer as well as new photos of the cast. Those are below.
So first things first. Who is returning? Well most of the ladies from last season are back with Charrisse Jackson-Jordan being the exception. But fret not as she is still a part of the cast taking on a friend of the housewives role this season.
That means Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, and Monique Samuels are back as full time housewives.
There is a new addition to the cast in the form of 31-yr-old beauty queen Candiace Dillard. Candiace is described as a graduate of Howard University and once worked in the White House Offices of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs for President Barack Obama. She now owns a hair company as well as a hair salon. Candiace is currently engaged to restaurateur Chris Bassett.
As for what we can expect in season 3 from the Potomac ladies, the press release promises: “This season the ladies are dealing with the high and lows of friendships, and marriages are being challenged.”
Karen and Ray are dealing with the aftermath of the shocking revelation that Ray owes millions to the IRS. Karen however tries to keep her head high but is accused by the other women of living beyond her means. Even more, the “D” word aka divorce is also brought up when it comes to Karen and Ray’s marriage!
Meanwhile, Ashley and Michael are working on their marriage following their separation last year. Michael is however asking Ashley to be more financially responsible when it comes to her mother. Gizelle is in a new relationship with beau Sherman Douglas, and is focused on balancing motherhood, her relationship and cosmetic line.
Monique and Chris move into their home, and want to expand their family but Monique is feeling overwhelmed with her many endeavors. Robyn and Juan are still living together, having moved into a bigger home and are now giving their relationship another try as the two are shown kissing in the show’s trailer.
The RHOP premieres Sunday, April 1 at 10pm ET/PT, and beginning Sunday, May 6, it moves to its permanent timeslot at 8pm ET/PT.
