The three-part Married to Medicine reunion kicks off tonight, and it appears they’ve saved the best (or worst) for last!
Marital woes have been a running theme this season, and now two of the couples are ready to call it quits.
Dr. Simone Whitmore and her husband, Cecil Whitmore, will announce their plans to divorce during the reunion, but insiders say that all hope is not lost. The other couples are rallying around them, and encouraging them to work it out.
Unfortunately, Quad Webb-Lunceford’s bombshell about her marriage may leave castmates and viewers considerably less optimistic, as it turns out Dr. Greg Lunceford might have cheated on Quad.
”Quad reveals that her husband was caught at a hotel with another woman,” an insider revealed to AllAboutTheTea. “The woman was trying to embezzle money from Gregory. She was threatening to go public.”
Wow! That sounds….complicated and might explain the reports stating Quad and Dr. Greg have separated. But marriages aren’t the only relationships that get messy this show. Sources say that a dramatic confrontation between Mariah Huq and Dr. Heavenly Kimes threatened to bring the reunion to a halt.
”During a break in the reunion, Heavenly went backstage to Mariah’s dressing room and defaced a life sized portrait of Mariah, destroying her property,” the insider said.
Another preview of the reunion shows Mariah nearly coming to blows with Quad, but sources reveal that the clip is a bit misleading, and that the former friends didn’t have much drama during the reunion.
”The editing is tricky and makes it look that way,” a production source said.
Also on the first part tonight, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe will reveal what really went down with her nanny Miss Renee. As we previously reported, Miss Renee accused Dr. Contessa of being a liar and using her to get on the show.
