LuAnn de Lesseps has reportedly found herself completely isolated from her family members and friends as she faces a shocking lawsuit from her former husband, Count Alexander de Lesseps, and their two kids, Victoria de Lesseps and Noel de Lesseps.
Earlier this month, the Real Housewives of New York City star spoke of a great reunion with the Count and their children but according to a new report, her family has since “cut her off,” which has forced her to find solace in others.
“[LuAnn is] hanging out with a whole new theater crowd,” a source explained to Radar Online on July 13. “She has cut ties with the Housewives, and now only wants to hang out with Broadway types.”
“[Her old friends] don’t even recognize her anymore,” the source continued.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Count, Victoria, and Noel were suing LuAnn for allegedly breaching their 2009 divorce agreement, which required her to set up a trust fund and award her two kids with 50 percent of her Bridgehampton home.
However, according to the court documents, LuAnn never set up the trust for Victoria and Noel, instead pocketing the $8 million in proceeds from the sale of the home in 2014.
She used proceeds from the home sale to purchase her her Sag Harbor home, which she is now attempting to sell. Reality Blurb reported back on June 15 that Luann had put her Sag Harbor home on the market for $6.25 million. Even worse, she then “threatened” to pocket 100 percent of the profit.
In their court documents against LuAnn, the Count and their kids are requesting a judge find her to be in breach of their divorce agreement and block the potential sale of her Sag Harbor home. That has yet to happen as the latest MLS records from July 14 show the home is still on the market.
Many RHONY fans were stunned by this lawsuit as Luann appeared to be on good terms with her children and ex, as she even stars in a new Bravo commercial with daughter Victoria.
Well, there’s good reason for that. According to the lawsuit docs, a confrontation with Luann and her family occurred as recently as this week. Apparently, on July 11, Luann “threatened” them that she would sell the home despite their objection. Below is that excerpt.
“As recently as July 11, 2018, Defendant threatened Plaintiffs that, despite the clear terms contained in the Stipulation of Settlement, she intends to list for sale, sell or mortgage the Premises for more than fifty percent its present value and leave Suffolk County with the proceeds derived therefrom in breach of the Stipulation of Settlement and in violation of the Judgment of Divorce so that she may purchase, for herself alone, a luxury home in upstate New York.”
The lawsuit was then filed the very next day on July 12. It alleges Luann “has breached and continues to breach” the terms of her divorce settlement in regards to creating the trust for her kids.
