“Last night was the best night of my entire life,” Lala, 28, wrote on Instagram on Sunday, alongside a photo of her and Randall, 46, kissing after he proposed. “I got engaged to the man of my dreams. I get to call this amazing human my fiancé! An engagement last night, my birthday today, and every sign my dad could possibly send me to let me know he’s here. I’m the happiest girl in the world.”
Randall also took to his own Instagram page to share news of the engagement! He posted a photo of himself kissing Lala on her cheek, with the caption: “She said ‘yes.'”
Lala’s dad, Kent Burningham, passed away earlier this year at the age of 64, and back in June, during an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show, Lala revealed that Randall had actually asked her dad for her hand in marriage right before his death.
“My mom told me that Rand had asked my Dad for my hand, before he passed away, over the phone,” shared Lala. “So that makes me so happy because I’m struggling with the fact that like I won’t have a dad to see me like have babies, get married, so that just means a lot to me that Rand did that before he passed.”
The proposal took place in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where Randall took Lala to celebrate her birthday.
Lala also took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of her engagement ring!
Lala and Randall have been dating for over two years now, and while Randall has yet to appear on Vanderpump Rules, Lala confirmed to Reality Blurb back in July that she and Randall will be featured on the upcoming season of Flipping Out.
This will be the first marriage for Lala, and the second for Randall, who was previously married to actress Ambyr Childers. Randall has two kids from his first marriage.
