The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge left many fans puzzled after she suddenly put her $1.8 million home on the market in September, less than a year after she purchased the home.
In a new interview, Tamra is finally revealing the real reason she sold her home as she also gives an update on the current state of her relationship with her ex-husband Simon Barney.
If you recall, Tamra, 51, purchased the 5-bedroom home last December, only to put it on the market last month – following months of renovation on the home. Even more, Tamra listed it for $1.79 million after purchasing it for $1.58 million, meaning she didn’t stand to make much of a profit when you take into consideration the amount she spent renovating it.
While Tamra has joked about the home bringing bad luck to her family, due to her husband Eddie Judge’s heart issues, she is now revealing the actual reason she put it on the market had to do with a neighbor’s complaints about Bravo filming there.
“It just wasn’t a good fit for us,” Tamra told PEOPLE. “We had a neighbor that wasn’t very nice.”
“She didn’t want us to film there. She was causing problems with HOA [home owners association],” Tamra continued. “I just said, you know what, we’re out of here.”
Fortunately for Tamra, her home sold in a record 14 days! And as Reality Blurb reported last month, Tamra is currently in the process of buying another home – a 4,840 sq. ft. house listed for $2.095 million in Coto De Caza, California. You can click here to see photos of Tamra’s new home.
In other Tamra news, the longtime reality star recently offered an update on her co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband Simon, with whom she shares three kids.
The relationship with the exes took a turn for the worse this year after Simon accused Tamra of not giving him a ticket to attend their son’s high school graduation ceremony. A claim that Tamra denied.
“Not good, not well,” Tamra admitted to People Now about how things are with Simon these days.
Then, when asked what would make their relationship better, Tamra said, “If all the kids were over 18.”
“I mean, it’s just been hard. It’s a struggle,” she added.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 13 airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
