Jim Bellino claims in his lawsuit against Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador that the Real Housewives of Orange County stars cost his business a whopping $1 million.
According to new documents filed by the former reality star last month, Tamra and Shannon defamed him by making allegedly defamatory comments about his trampoline business during an appearance on Heather McDonald‘s podcast, Juicy Scoop, in June.
On December 4, The Blast shared details about Jim’s November 21 filing, revealing Shannon was accused of intentionally disrupting his business relationships.
“[Shanon] intended to disrupt those relationships and knew or should have known that disruption would result when she made the statements about Skyzone at issue in this case,” he said.
“Disruption of those relationships has occurred as visitors who would otherwise regularly visit Skyzone no longer do because they have heard that ‘people get paralyzed’ there. In addition, I had the opportunity to purchase three trampoline parks before [Shannon]’s statements were made,” Jim continued.
Although Jim was in talks to expand his business, he claimed in his court documents that investors working with him on the deal, which would have been extremely profitable for him, ultimately decided to back out.
As he explained, this led to a loss of at least $1 million, and he is blaming the Real Housewives of Orange County cast members.
In July, Jim filed a lawsuit against Tamra and Shannon after they suggested his divorce from ex-wife Alexis Bellino was fake and claimed his trampoline business had left guests paralyzed.
The ladies also said, “He’s going to jail.”
In response to the lawsuit, Tamra and Shannon requested his case be dismissed and insisted their statements about Jim were rooted in truth.
