The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador has not had an easy divorce. And despite the recent report of a truce, it appears Shannon and her estranged husband, David Beador, are still not on the friendliest terms.
In fact, according to a new report, Shannon declined to attend a basketball game in Florida for her daughter Sophia, 17, in order to avoid an awkward run-in with David and his girlfriend Lesley Cook.
According to Radar Online, David was also in Florida with Lesley, and her kids, at the same time Shannon brought Sophia, and her sisters – 14-year-old Stella and Adeline, for the tournament.
“The main reason that David brought Lesley and her kids to Florida was to be there for Sophie’s game,” a source shared. “David attends all of his daughters games whether they are home or away and that is very important to the girls and him.”
However, despite being in Florida, Shannon chose not to attend the actual basketball game.

“Shannon avoids the games in order to avoid having a run-in with David,” the source added. “Sophie’s games are kind of like her and her father’s thing and Shannon knows that. She is okay with that and wants her girls to have a good relationship with their father ultimately.”
This latest news comes weeks after David asked the court to ban Shannon from drinking around their kids. In response, Shannon accused him of trying to control and humiliate her. Shortly after, a report came out claiming the exes had decided to put their differences aside for the holidays.
Shannon and David Beador head back to court on January 23, 2019.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return to Bravo TV sometime in 2019 for Season 14.
