Ariana Madix may have hooked up with Lala Kent but that doesn’t mean she cheated on her boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, according to her.
In a series of new tweets, the Vanderpump Rules star opened up to her fans and followers about why her rendezvous with her co-star wasn’t a betrayal of any kind.
After a fan tweeted to Ariana and pointed out that Tom was present during the hookup before asking for her thoughts on the swirling allegations of cheating, Ariana shared new details about her encounter with Lala and Tom’s response to it.
“I’m on the same page as you. I was also physically touching him and trying to get him involved. When that was obvi not going to happen, it stopped,” she explained. “There’s nothing shady about it. People always want to shove everyone else into their own little boxes.”

“I mean seriously, [you] absolutely cannot call that cheating if he was right there, I’m curious as to [why] he didn’t participate, especially if he’s b***hin that [you guys] don’t [have] sex,” another fan wrote.
As fans may recall, Tom opened up about a dry spell he and Ariana were having during a previous season of Vanderpump Rules. However, according to Ariana, that time in their lives was brief and when it came to her hookup with Lala, she would have liked Tom to have been a part of it.
“He’s not saying that. He said that for a short period of time when we had a dry spell, causing me to be really honest with myself and what was holding me back: unresolved trauma. He didn’t participate bc Lala didn’t want that so we took her home,” she explained. “I wanted him involved.”

In addition to her hookup with Lala, Ariana has also been a hot topic on the show due to her thoughts about marriage and children. As viewers have seen, Ariana has been seen confirming that she does not want to get married or have kids with Tom on numerous occasions over the past several seasons.

In a second tweet, Ariana addressed a fan who pointed out that if she and Tom weren’t talking about the issues, producers wouldn’t be able to air footage of the conversations.
“Either you and/or Tom keep talking about it or the show is a scam and they are giving you guys the lines,” the fan tweeted. “Either way you have a choice for it to stop being brought up.”
“I do not have a choice,” Ariana replied. “I have fought with producers on multiple occasions on this issue. We don’t have lines. The first time I was asked about marriage and babies was season 3.”
