Jenelle Evans and David Eason are fueling major rumors of a split on social media.
Amid a report in which it was suggested that the Teen Mom 2 couple was currently feuding, both Jenelle and David gave more than a couple of reasons for fans to believe the rumors of a potentially impending divorce may be true.
The divorce speculation began after Jenelle took to her Facebook page to post that she was “single AF” this weekend while uploading a new photo and changing her relationship status to “separated.”
On Instagram, Jenelle also posted a couple of cryptic posts with her fans and followers on Sunday, February 17, the first of which included a photo of Clean Bandit and Demi Lovato’s song “Solo” on her car stereo.
A short time later, Jenelle posted a second song on her Instagram Story.
Below are the lyrics featured in the snippets of the Kesha song Jenelle shared:
“Was telling everyone it’s not that bad
‘Til all my shit hit the fan”“The past can’t haunt me if I don’t let it
Live and learn and never forget it
Whoa, gotta learn to let it go”
Around the time of her Instagram posts, Jenelle fueled additional rumors of a split on Facebook with a post that read, “someone change my mood,” and included a broken-heart emoji.
Also on Facebook, David changed his relationship status to “single.”
Jenelle and David’s social media drama came as rumors began swirling online in regard to a possible split.
“They are fighting,” a source told Us Weekly on February 17. “He hasn’t been home.”
While David has reportedly been staying away from Jenelle, their two-year-old daughter Ensley, and their other children from previous relationships, the insider claimed that despite their social media posts, “they aren’t broken up.”
“What else is new? David and Jenelle are always fighting, he won’t come home for days at a time,” a second insider said. “I would be surprised if they weren’t fighting. Now that would be shocking.”
News of their potential split comes just months after Jenelle accused David of a brutal “assault” before taking back her story and insisting their fight was nothing more than a drunk misunderstanding.
Teen Mom 2 season nine airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on MTV.
