RHONY Star LuAnn De Lesseps Violates Probation by Drinking Alcohol After Rehab

LuAnn de Lesseps appears to be neglecting the rules of her probation.

According to new court documents, the Real Housewives of New York City star, who was ordered not to drink during her 12-month probation period, admitted to drinking two mimosas after a recent Countess and Friends performance in Chicago.

Page Six shared details about the court documents obtained from the Florida Department of Corrections, which stated, “per her New York Probation Officer, [she had] an alcohol test conducted on 04/21/2019. [She] admitted to drinking 2 glasses of mimosas after a performance she had in Chicago.”

After the results of the test were confirmed, LuAnn was told she could “immediately enroll in outpatient treatment.” However, as the documents explained, she “declined due to her touring schedule” and turned down an alcohol ankle monitoring device because she felt it was “too intrusive.”

According to LuAnn’s probation officer in West Palm Beach, Florida, this is the second time the reality star has violated her probation. As he explained, LuAnn committed her first violation when she “failed to provide sufficient documentation of completed AA meetings.”

LuAnn was previously ordered to attend two meetings each week but has provided proof of attending just five meetings thus far.

“It appears to [the court] that [she] is not serious about her sobriety or the orders of this Court,” her probation officer argued in court documents. “As stated on previous notification, [she] has used her unlimited travel as a reason to be noncompliant with her conditions of supervision.”

In an additional document, the officer said that “in order to effectively address [her] current relapse, de Lesseps has to be ‘available’ to participate.”

LuAnn’s probation is set to conclude on August 28 and the court has not yet made a decision in regard to a potential punishment for her violations.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 11 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
