Is Erika Jayne Considering Quitting the RHOBH? She Dishes on Potential Spinoff and Explains Why Husband Thomas' Lawsuit Isn't a Storyline on Show

Erika Jayne is opening up about all things Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

During a new interview, Erika discussed her future on the Bravo TV reality show and a potential spinoff series before revealing why husband Thomas Girardi‘s legal issues, specifically the $15 million lawsuit against him, haven’t been seen on the show.

“I don’t know,” Erika told Entertainment Tonight on May 7 after being asked about a possible return for season 10. “I mean I think that, you know, you have to see what’s going on in your life and whether it’s right for you at the right time.”

“I got some other projects that are coming out that are gonna be really cool,” she continued.

Over the past few years, Erika has involved herself with several projects, including her New York Times bestselling book, Pretty Mess, her makeup collaboration with Too Faced, and her shoe line with ShoeDazzle. Now, after filming four seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika is open to expanding her empire with a “Pretty Mess Krewe” spinoff, which would feature her creative director and longtime friend, Mikey Minden.

“You know I’d say yes!” Erika confirmed. “I say yes to everything, ‘cause so many great things are happening in my life.”

“[This team] is an untapped gem,” she added. “It really is. Note, whoever’s watching … I would put that out in the universe, ‘cause it’s a life that I think a viewer would really find interesting and all the working dynamics into it.”

As for why the $15 million lawsuits currently pending against Thomas hasn’t been addressed on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika said she simply can’t expose the details of her husband’s case publicly.

“You can’t show those things on television, simple as that,” Erika stated. “You can’t show legal issues on TV. You can show trials. We’re not in trial!”

While Thomas has been seen on the series on occasion, being a reality star isn’t his main focus.

“Tom is a lawyer,” Erika explained. “He has his own firm, he has his own clients and so, that is his first responsibility.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
