RHOBH Star Lisa Vanderpump Gives Update on Relationship with Dorit Kemsley, Discusses Seeing Kyle Richards and Lie Detector Test

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump is giving an update on where she stands with castmate Dorit Kemsley today, as she also opens up about her recent run-in with Kyle Richards and discusses her decision to take a lie detector test on the show.

Lisa hosted the Vanderpump Dog’s World Dog Day in West Hollywood on Saturday, May 18, and during the event, she opened up about her drama with her Bravo co-stars.

First, Lisa revealed she had zero regrets about the way she handled Puppy Gate this season, which was basically an accusation by her castmates that she leaked a story to the press about a dog Dorit adopted ending up at a shelter.

“I couldn’t have handled anything any differently,” she told Us Weekly, as she then went on to explain why she made the shocking decision to take a lie detector test on the show.

“I handled it with the truth and that’s, I think, why I ended up doing the lie detector test, because I was like, I was so sick of them saying, ‘Oh, I don’t believe this.’ Or ‘I don’t believe that.’ Or ‘You did this,’” said Lisa. “And finally, when you say, ‘I swear on my children’s life’ and that’s not good enough, that’s when I say, ‘Oh, you know what?’ [Vanderpump Dogs executive director] John Sessa had a great idea, ‘Go, do a lie detector test.’ I said, ‘Absolutely.’ If I had any guilt, I wouldn’t have done it. Come on.”

While RHOBH fans will have to wait until Tuesday night to see the results of Lisa’s polygraph test, she was able to reveal where she stands with Dorit and Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley today.

“No, I haven’t spoken to them. I haven’t,” said Lisa about the Kemsleys.

Lisa also opened up some more about recently running into Kyle, after eight months of not speaking.

“It was pretty kind of benign in one way, because we were standing in Chanel. I don’t think we’d start rolling around in the dirt in Chanel,” said Lisa. “I was more focused on buying [my daughter] Pandora a birthday present than I was on dealing with her issues, so to speak.”

Kyle has also spoken out about the run-in, describing it as “extremely awkward.”

Finally, Lisa closed out her interview by thanking her fans for their support.

“The one thing I want to do is really thank the fans, because they’ve been amazing. Amazing! You know, ‘We love you so,’” she stated. “That’s been, that’s been … When you have all these people saying, ‘Oh, we see the truth and we support you.’ That means a lot, so thank you.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesday nights on Bravo at 9/8c.
