EXCLUSIVE: Is RHOC's Vicki Gunvalson Demanding Steve Lodge Set a Date for Their Wedding

Is Vicki Gunvalson in a rush to the altar?

After the Real Housewives of Orange County star was accused of “pushing and pushing” fiancé Steve Lodge to set a wedding date, she’s speaking out.

“Just like everything else in her life, Vicki has really been trying to control every aspect of her upcoming wedding to Steve,” a supposed source close to the reality star revealed to Radar Online on June 11. “She fears that he will get cold feet, which is why she is trying to make this wedding happen stat.”

However, according to Vicki, this latest report is completely false.

In a statement to Reality Blurb shortly after the article was shared, Vicki deemed the source’s claims as “lies.”

“It’s incredibly irresponsible for anyone to speak about or wedding plans without the facts!!!” she fired back.

Vicki’s fiance Steve is also refuting the report as he responded to the story via a comment on the Housewives Hangover Instagram page.

“Vicki and I haven’t even discussed a date or location,” wrote Steve. “She is not in any way shape or form pressuring me to do anything. We are enjoying our engagement. Next time people want to know about our relationship, just ask one of us.”

While Vicki and Steve did get engaged during production on The Real Housewives of Orange County, their engagement was not filmed for the show.

“He really wanted to do it privately,” a source told Page Six in April. “He wanted to do it because the two of them are in love and wanted it to be a private, special moment.”

As for Vicki’s true plans for her wedding, she recently told Us Weekly that she wasn’t yet sure where she and Steve would be tying the knot.

“We might do it in Puerto Vallarta, might do it in our backyard, might do it in a winery, we are all over the place. Might just do us and our kids, might just do a big wedding,” she said.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 14 will air on Bravo TV this summer.
