Southern Charm NOLA's Reagan Charleston "Horrified" by How Ex-Husband Jeff Charleston Found Out She Was Pregnant, Plus He Addresses Losing His Cool

Reagan Charleston is reacting to the way in which her ex-husband, Jeff Charleston, learned she was expecting her first child with now-husband Reece Thomas.

Following a dramatic episode of Southern Charm: New Orleans on Sunday, which featured Jeff in an extremely emotional moment after learning of Reagan’s pregnancy during a “Friendsgiving” dinner, Reagan and Jeff took to their Twitter pages to share their thoughts on the tense moment.

“The feelings police on twitter will beg to differ, but I moved out in 2017, separated, then filed for divorce. I didn’t think anyone would be shocked when I started seeing [Reece],” Reagan wrote in her first tweet. “Also, is a pregnancy that shocking when two 30 somethings live [together and] are engaged?”

Reagan went on to say she was “particularly horrified” by the fact that her pregnancy news was shared during Jeff’s party.

“Was also particularly horrified to see that my pregnancy was shared at my ex-husband’s dinner party and then discussed at the dinner table,” she said. “Fully expecting the peanut gallery to finger wag and scold.”

After a fan tweeted back to Reagan, telling her that she didn’t need to explain herself, Reagan admitted she was frustrated about having to defend herself against her online critics.

“We always say at the house ‘you can’t mess with happy,’ but I have to admit, it does get frustrating defending it all the time!! Thank you,” she tweeted.

Prior to Sunday night’s show, Jeff explained why he got so upset about the news of his former wife’s pregnancy.

“Really, I think it was just the moment of when I found out. I didn’t see that [coming]. At the time, I was mad like, ‘Man, I’m just trying to enjoy my party.’ You know, that was the biggest, like, ‘Why now? Why do I need to know now?'” he told The Daily Dish. “I wasn’t mad at Reagan, it was just like, man, now’s not the time.”

After the show, he apologized for losing his cool.

“It was just all too much…sorry for losing my cool #southerncharmnola,” he wrote, along with a clip from the episode.
