RHOC Star Shannon Beador Reveals Rift With Kelly Dodd, Says Emily Simpson is Not a Fun Person

Shannon Beador is revealing a rift with Kelly Dodd while also throwing some major shade at her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Emily Simpson.

During a set of new interviews, the RHOC star opened up about her relationships with Emily and Gina Kirschenheiter. She also discussed where she stands with Kelly.

“You’d probably have to ask Emily that question, and she’d come up with some cockamamie answer,” Shannon told Us Weekly when asked why she doesn’t have a close relationship with Emily. “I mean, I called her.”

According to Shannon, Emily wanted to know where “fun Shannon” was during season 13. But now, amid season 14, Shannon is wondering why “fun Emily” hasn’t surfaced.

“She said to me all last season, ‘Where’s Fun Shannon? I wanna see Fun Shannon.’ And my question right back is, well, where’s Fun Emily? Because I don’t see a lot of fun. And this year, I don’t see that much fun either,” Shannon explained.

“I don’t mean to be cruel to her, but you know, if you’re going to say that I’m not fun, like, look at yourself too,” she added.

As for Gina, Shannon said she’s been completely supportive of her co-star throughout her marital struggles.

“What I tell her is go with your heart. I understand as a mother she wants to protect her family and keep her family together. I tried to do the same thing. So, I support her in that,” Shannon said. “We’ve had conversations about it and I’ve told her that I’m here for her… whatever that she needs. We filmed quite a bit together, talking about that this season.”

In a separate interview with E! News, Shannon revealed that while she and Kelly started off filming on season 14 in a good place, there’s now a rift between them, although she didn’t explain what caused it.

“You’ll have to watch this season, but Kelly and I started off very strong. I spent a lot off-camera time with her and we did develop a friendship, and it’s a shame because that friendship is deteriorating, so, you’ll see,” Shannon teased.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 14 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
