Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor Reveals the Real Reason Why He Doesn't Wear His Wedding Ring

Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor is finally speaking out about why he doesn’t wear his wedding ring after being caught without it more than once.

As fans may remember, reality TV’s ultimate bad boy was caught multiple times without his wedding ring last August merely two months after marrying his onscreen sweetheart, Brittany Cartwright. But according to the Bravo star, there’s not too much meaning behind this move.

“I don’t ever wear my wedding ring. I just don’t. I’m not a jewelry guy,” the Bravo star told Hollywood Life at Carl’s Jr.’s Ultimate Avocado Brunch, an event he hosted to promote the restaurant’s new Guacamole Double Cheeseburger on Thursday, September 12. “I go to the gym, I’m working in the yard. At my house, my wife doesn’t wear hers either. And my wedding ring is big, so it gets in the way and all that.”

Jax went on to express his confusion over why everyone made such a big deal about him not wearing his wedding ring. “I don’t know if it’s a slow day in the gossip magazine world or whatever, but many people I know don’t wear their wedding rings,” the 40-year-old divulged. Jax even revealed that his wife Brittany shared a similar sentiment.

“We wear it when we need to wear it, like when we go out and stuff like that, but around the house and stuff, no,” Jax dished. “And, every time they [paparazzi] catch me not wearing my ring, I’m either at the gym or at my house.”

The reality star admitted that any rumors about his marriage being in trouble “are silly,” as he made it clear there is no trouble in paradise. The couple recently became homeowners and seem to be enjoying their first year as husband and wife.

While there may not be trouble in his marriage, Jax has definitely seen his fair share of drama amongst his Vanderpump Rules friend group. Just last August, the bartender was rumored to be feuding with multiple castmembers, most notably Kristin Doute. But as of late, the two have reportedly been on good terms again.

Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules will air sometime later this year on Bravo TV.
