Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ star Lisa Vanderpump is opening up about her long-lasting marriage to Ken Todd.
While many other Bravo housewives’ marriages haven’t faired so well, Lisa and Ken appear to be stronger than ever, even after 37 years of marriage. But while the couple appears to still be going strong, Lisa is quick to admit things aren’t always as perfect as they seem.
“Oh gosh, well, every marriage is a challenge, I mean it is,” the Bravo star jokingly dished to Life & Style. “You agree and then you don’t and then you kind of slap him.”
While Lisa loves to joke about her relationship with Ken, who she shares grown children Pandora Sabo and Max Todd with, she believes they work well together for a reason.
“We’ve been married forever. I met Ken through my brother who passed last year and we’ve always been very good friends,” Lisa explained. “We have the same ideals and the same family values and I guess we’re both religious and we both love animals and we work well together.”
And work well together, they do! The couple owns a handful of successful restaurants together. This includes the famous SUR, which is featured on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules. The couple has also recently opened Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in the renowned Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas. And believe it or not, Lisa also reportedly hinted at yet another project in the works at the same hotel.
After her unexpected exit from RHOBH in June, Lisa has turned her focus solely on Vanderpump Rules and her restaurants. Given her busy schedule, it’s not surprising to hear the woman never gets any sleep.
“I don’t sleep as much as I should and if I’m passionate about something I just keep moving forward,” the restaurant mogul said.
Well, at least she has a supportive husband and business partner to be by her side along the way!
