Will Lisa Vanderpump Have a Bigger Role on Vanderpump Rules After Quitting RHOBH? A Source Reveals Why She's Shifting Gears

Will fans get to see more of Lisa Vanderpump on the upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules after she quit the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Still feeling bummed after hearing Lisa wouldn’t be returning to RHOBH? Dry your eyes because you’ll still be seeing plenty of the Bravo star on her other hit reality show, Vanderpump Rules! Since she will no longer be filming alongside her Beverly Hills castmates, the Bravo star will reportedly be showing more of her life on Pump Rules.

“Lisa is excited to be featured more on this season of Vanderpump Rules,” a source close to the 58-year-old revealed to Hollywood Life. “At first, she was deciding what to do about returning to Housewives [of Beverly Hills] so she didn’t want to film for Vanderpump Rules at the same time, however, once the decision was made to quit [RHOBH], she couldn’t wait to be featured on camera more.”

Vanderpump Rules centers around Lisa and her husband Ken Todd‘s swanky West Hollywood restaurant SUR and its staff, portraying the Bravo star as a mentor to her employees. In past seasons, fans may have noticed Lisa appearing less and less due to her busy schedule and filming obligations with RHOBH. However, that will change on season eight.

“[Lisa] was hanging out with the cast much more, wanted to be included in the trips, showing up to events, etc. You will be seeing a lot more Lisa next season now that she’s got more time to film with the ‘kids’ as she calls them,” the insider added.

The restaurant mogul has also gone through a lot in her personal life, especially over the past couple of years. Between her “doggy-gate” drama with cast members Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards and the loss of her brother in 2018 and her mother this past June, Lisa has had her fair share of hard times.

But despite her rocky personal life, Lisa is looking forward to getting back in front of Bravo cameras.

“After [Lisa] got back from her mom’s funeral, she wanted to start filming much more with all her free time as she really missed filming,” the insider said.

But Lisa has plenty of things to keep busy with, given that she owns multiple LA restaurants including SUR, PUMP, Villa Blanca, Tom Tom, and now Vanderpump Garden in Las Vegas. She is also the owner of Vanderpump Dogs, a dog adoption shop in West Hollywood, and she’s the proud founder of Vanderpump Rosé and LVP Sangria. Needless to say, Lisa’s got her hands full!

“Lisa loves to film and show off all her projects so it was easy for her to decide to be more involved and re-focus her attention,” the insider finally concluded.
