Vanderpump Rules' Ariana Madix Responds After Jax Taylor Throws Shade at Her Sexuality, Reacts to Being Labeled an 'Opportunist'

Ariana Madix is firing back at Jax Taylor‘s recent insinuation that she’s a lesbian.

After Jax made the claim on Tuesday night’s Watch What Happens Live After Show, the Vanderpump Rules cast member took to Twitter to set the record straight about her sexuality before slamming a fan for their display of “ignorance” after she was labeled an “opportunist.”

During the WWHL: After Show, a caller asked Jax if he felt Tom Sandoval was jealous that he and Brittany Cartwright had gotten married, bought a house, and were planning for kids because he secretly wanted the same. In response, Jax muttered under his breath that Ariana was likely refusing to marry Tom because she prefers women.

“She likes women,” said Jax.  “Don’t say that!” Brittany replied.

“You think Ariana likes women?” host Andy Cohen wondered.

“I didn’t mean that,” Jax explained.

“What do you mean you didn’t mean it? You just said it,” Andy clapped back.

Then, after Jax claimed his comment was “an accident,” Brittany said Ariana, “likes everybody, just like most of us.”

“Yeah, just own it. Just don’t lie about it,” Jax added.

Shortly after Jax’s comments aired, Ariana took to Twitter to fire back at him.

“I DO like women AND men. It’s called being bisexual. Ever heard of it?” Ariana asked, adding the hashtag “#thisisnthard” with her Full House GIF.

After Ariana shared this post, a fan suggested that in being bisexual, Ariana was an “opportunist.”

Again, Ariana responded with a GIF.

As for Jax, he did apologize during the After Show as he admitted he was frustrated with Tom.

“I have a hard time with him coming at me because I bought a house because I got married. Am I not allowed to buy a house? How would I one-up him? His house is bigger than mine? What am I supposed to do? Sit around and not start a family?” he asked.

When Andy then explained that Tom was referring to comments Jax had made about how his home with Brittany would be different than Tom’s place with Ariana on the premiere episode of Pump Rules season eight, Jax said he didn’t understand how he could have been one-upping Tom because his home is smaller.

“Clearly I didn’t one-up him,” he added.

“Well, you just said his girlfriend is a lesbian,” Andy replied.
