Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador is demanding former housewife Alexis Bellino‘s ex-husband Jim Bellino compensate her for the legal fees she acquired while fighting against his defamation lawsuit.
While a judge let Shannon off the hook after Jim sued her and fellow Orange County housewife Tamra Judge for $1 million over defamation, the mother-of-three isn’t done fighting just yet. In an attempt to have Jim pay her back for the hefty legal fees she acquired before claims against her were dropped, she reportedly filed a lien against the businessman’s San Juan Capistrano mansion.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the lien against Jim’s $4 million property will enable her to collect the $137,000 she wants to be compensated for.
As fans may recall, Jim sued Shannon, Tamra, and comedian Heather McDonald for defaming his name and tarnishing his reputation after speaking publicly on a podcast about his divorce and falsely claiming that someone became paralyzed while at Jim’s trampoline business.
Unlike Tamra, Shannon was dropped from the case and was reportedly awarded $137,340.25 for the money she’d spent on attorney fees.
However, just last week, Shannon demanded that Jim present all his bank statements and financial information in front of a judge in an attempt to seize his assets and pay off her full legal debt, which she claims amounts to a whopping $220,000. Jim is expected to present this information in court on February 6, according to the report.
All accused parties have continued to deny allegations as they believe anything they said on the podcast was believed to be true.
