RHOBH's Erika Jayne Says She's "Proud" of Police Officer Son Tommy and Reveals If She Regrets Sharing a Photo of Him, Plus Says Quarantine Has Been Great for Her Marriage to Thomas Girardi

Erika Jayne shared a photo of her son, Tommy Zizzo, on Instagram earlier this week, and during a recent episode of Andy Cohen‘s radio show, she admitted the share may have been a product of her going “quarantine crazy.”

After expressing pride in her only child, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member revealed if she regrets posting the image and if Tommy has contacted her about it before opening up about her marriage to husband Thomas Girardi and the emotional moment they recently endured on the series during another radio show.

“I am a proud mom of my essential worker son. He’s on the front lines. He’s a very fine young man and I’m super proud,” Erika said of Tommy on Radio Andy.

While Erika takes pride in Tommy, she has never featured him on RHOBH and does her best to protect his privacy because “he didn’t choose this life.”

“I don’t care if he’s an adult and he carries a gun and a badge. At the end of the day, he’s still my boy. But you know what, I posted it and I’m glad I did,” Erika said.

Since her photo share, Erika has learned her photo of Tommy is her “best performing post.” However, according to the reality star, Tommy doesn’t appear to have seen the image online.

“I haven’t heard [from him] yet,” she laughed. “Hopefully it doesn’t even come across his [radar].”

During another appearance this week, Erika told Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg that the quarantine has actually helped her marriage to Thomas.

“Tom and I spend a lot of time at the kitchen table chatting,” Erika revealed on The Jenny McCarthy Show. “It’s fun. Maybe it’s because I had a four month break but so far, so good. We haven’t been ready to kill each other.”

Although Thomas isn’t seen a whole lot on RHOBH, he was featured alongside Erika during an episode last month in which Erika was seen in tears after he told her he was proud of all she’s accomplished in recent years, including her run in Broadway’s Chicago.

“I needed to hear it,” Erika admitted. “[He] has believed in me and supported me and been there for me when no one else was… and I could not hold [the emotion] back. And I remember when it was over feeling like, ‘I’m either going to love this or hate it.’ My whole heart just came out on the table.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
