A fan of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has launched a petition in hopes of having Teddi Mellencamp fired from her role on the show.
Following the 10th season, which saw Teddi confronting Denise Richards about her alleged affair with Brandi Glanville during a cast dinner in Rome, it has been alleged that Teddi is not only “dangerous,” but also a “mean girl” who is trying to be Kyle Richards and bullies bigger women.
“Teddi Boring Mellencamp has become a dangerous human being!” a fan named Tommy wrote in the description of his petition. “Her self-entitlement and wardrobe and style is horrible! Teddi possesses the trait of trying to be a mean girl and, sadly be the lopsided doll minded version of Kyle Richards that Kyle keeps in her back pocket.”
According to the fan, Teddi is the reason Denise ultimately left the show after just two season.
“Teddi stuck her nose, not her original one, in Denise Richards’ business causing a huge blowup and for one of the fan favorites to leave the show!” he claimed. “Teddi will forever be known only because of her father, oh and don’t get me started on the bullying of bigger women she does!”
“Let’s get Teddi Mellencamp off of RHOBH,” Tommy added in the Change.org petition.
Thus far, the petition has garnered nearly 300 signatures.
As RHOBH fans may recall, fans also called for the firing of both Teddi and Kyle after season nine. At the time, they claimed the ladies bullied Lisa Vanderpump into quitting the show with the Puppy Gate storyline, which accused Lisa of leaking a negative story about Dorit Kemsley abandoning a dog she rescued from Vanderpump Dogs.
Following the launching of the 2019 petition, an insider close to Teddi and Kyle said they were not at all offended by fans calling for them to be fired.
“They’re both 100 percent confident they’ll be back for another season,” the insider told Hollywood Life. “Both Teddi and Kyle know Lisa has really loyal, hardcore fans, however, they know they do as well, so figure it is what it is. They both know that should they get fired, it would have nothing to do with Lisa’s fans but they’re not at all worried about this.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 concludes next Wednesday, September 23, with the “Secrets Revealed” episode at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
