In July, The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Gia Giudice revealed she got a nose job and showed off some of the results on her Instagram. Now, her plastic surgeon is giving fans an even closer look at the stunning procedure.

In her Instagram post shared on July 17, Gia posed with her mom Teresa Giudice as she shared how long she had been wanting the work done and how happy she was to make the change.

“Yes I got a nose job. yes I’m swollen. thank you so much @drtobiasnyc I’m absolutely in love with it????” Gia, 19, captioned her Instagram post. “I am an adult now, this has been an insecurity of mine for a while and I’ve never been happier and so comfortable in my own skin!!”

In addition to her own shares, Gia’s plastic surgeon, Dr. Geoffrey Tobias, offered a closer look at the before and after photos, detailing the transformation.

In a few posts shared to his Instagram page, the doctor explained the process for the reality star, sharing how she received a closed rhinoplasty that only took two and a half hours and that it left no scars. He also noted in the caption that the procedure had a “rapid recovery” time of four to seven days with ultimate results achieved in six to twelve months.

“Here it is! So many of you requested to see a before/after of Gia’s profile transformation ⚡️ Her contoured profile is now soft and balanced ???? #contouredbyTobias ????????,” the doctor wrote in his caption.

The doctor shared an additional Instagram photo of Gia at the end of September, showing a frontal shot of her nose before and after.

Although Gia’s mom Teresa was completely supportive of her procedure, her dad Joe Giudice was a tad skeptical, saying back in July that he was initially “not okay” with her decision to alter her face.

“At first I was not ok because I was scared,” Joe revealed in an interview with Celeb Magazine on July 19. “I don’t want anything happening to my children. So many things come to mind — my baby has to go under anesthesia, corona[virus] in [the] hospital … is she going to be okay?”

Joe added, “I am supportive of this decision, but my babies are beautiful and smart with no surgery.”
