The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are known for their extravagant lifestyles, but apparently, one of them really takes the cake.
In a video showing the RHOSLC wives’ audition tapes, the ladies discussed their casting qualities while Jen Shah, resident housewife peacock, talked about what quality really set her apart.
“I’m Jen Shah, I’m 28 years old…aka 45,” the RHOSLC housewife joked in the Bravo exclusive. “I relate better to females that work. The ones that just sit at home and don’t do anything…I don’t play well with girls like that. I had to work my ass off here in Utah. We live in a gated community [and] my husband travels a lot. There are like, 20 pieces of luggage when we travel and maybe 17 are mine. I probably spend $50,000/month.”
“My wife’s shopping habits can be in and of themselves a daily source of my trauma,” Jen’s husband Sharrieff Shah confessed.
As for more RHOSLC tea, fans have already noticed a bit of a conflict brewing between Heather Gay and Lisa Barlow after Lisa denied knowing who Heather was when Heather claimed they knew each other from college. In a new interview, Lisa clarified her side, noting how incorrect Heather was in her claims.
“I know when I met Heather, I remember meeting Heather and I’m definitely sure she remembers when she met me. I know she knows when she met me. It wasn’t 20 years ago, I’m like, girl, bring the history. Prove the history,” Lisa told 933 Austin. “When she keeps saying we have so much history I’m like, really? What is the history? Will someone please ask her to tell me the history? My kids are like, ‘Mom, who’s Heather?'”
She continued, “I have a really good memory and I’m also really kind so…I cannot wait for her to show me how we knew each other 20 years ago. When Jen asked me at her house I was like, ‘I don’t remember her from college’ because I didn’t know what she was saying. So it’s gonna be interesting to see what she comes up with between now and January.”
Lisa also went on to explain how she and the others got cast on the show, detailing a time she was just getting a blowout and struck up a conversation with someone who suggested she’d be great for the show.
“What ended up happening is I just recommended a few friends, it started with me and Meredith [Marks],” she stated. “And then I had met Heather from my friend Angela three years ago when I helped donate a bar for her day spa and Beauty Lab. She’s a single mom and I was like, ‘Hey, this could be good for her because it will help promote her business’ and Heather can be very funny.”
As far as the franchise continuing on, Lisa has some positive thoughts in mind, encouraging another season most likely heading fans’ way.
“I do think we’re getting a season two. I do think we’re gonna get one,” she smiled.
