Shannon Beador Reveals She Sent Ex-Husband David A Gift After Welcoming Baby With Wife Lesley Cook, Plus Are RHOC Exes On Speaking Terms?

It seems that Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador is no longer harboring a grudge towards her ex-husband David Beador and is wishing him and his new family well.

In a recent interview, Shannon revealed that she sent a gift to David and Lesley Cook‘s newborn baby girl following her birth in February.

“I sent a gift,” she stated. “I mean, I sent it with the kids [we share], so I don’t know [how David feels about it].”

As fans likely know, Shannon and David, who were married for 17 years and share three daughters, Stella, 19, and 16-year-old twins Adeline and Sophie, went through a contentious divorce. Before their divorce was finalized, David began dating Lesley, 37, which the reality star had a difficult time dealing with at first.

Though she sent a gift, she explained that they’re still not on the best of terms when it comes to co-parenting as they just don’t speak at all.

“I’ve come to accept it,” she told Us Weekly. “He just had a baby. … So, I’m sure he has his hands full.”

This comes after her former co-stars, Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge, seemingly taunted their ex friend by congratulating David and Lesley via social media when they announced baby Anna’s arrival.

“Congrats, David! I’m so happy for you!” Vicki captioned a photo of David and Lesley showing off their new bundle of joy.

Meanwhile, Tamra congratulated the couple on Facebook by posting a pic of the pair and simply writing, “Congrats, David!”

As for Shannon’s relationship with John Janssen, The Real for Real Cuisine founder said that things are going well for them and John has been helping her with her company.

When asked about John’s relationship with her three daughters, Shannon says it’s “very good,” but he’s not there to take the place of their father.

“He knows that they have a father,” she asserted. “He’s kind to them and he’s sweet and helpful when they need anything, but he doesn’t take on that father role.”
