Joe Giudice is opening up about his reunion with ex-wife Teresa Giudice in the Bahamas.
After being seen enjoying a dinner date with Teresa, their kids, her boyfriend Luis Ruelas, and his sons on Wednesday night, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star admitted to feeling “awkward” before reacting to recent claims made by Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga and announcing a new business venture.
“You can all imagine how I felt when they walked in the room. It was awkward to see my ex after a lifetime together with someone else,” Joe told Us Weekly on Thursday, April 1.
Although his meeting with Luis wasn’t the most comfortable circumstance for Joe, he said he and Teresa have decided to be honest and remain friends for the sake of their four daughters, Gia, 20, Gabriella, 16, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 11.
“Parenting should always be about giving your children the best outcomes for every situation,” he explained. “I believe we deserve to all be happy and our children will thank us for it. I am genuinely happy for both Teresa and Luis and wish them the best!“
In a second interview with Us Weekly, Joe fired back at Melissa and her husband for their accusations against him during Wednesday night’s episode of RHONJ.
“Joe has a lot of anger built-in because of his doing! He needs to be truthful with himself and America!” Joe said. “As for Melissa and Joe, they will never be us because they are fake.”
During the latest episode, Joe Gorga claimed he “lost” so much when it came to his family due to the behavior of Joe Giudice, who he accused of putting his sister in prison and putting his mother in her grave. However, according to Joe Giudice, that was far from the case.
“The parents lost everything because of Joe Gorga. Teresa and I had to care for them throughout our marriage to help them, that is why we were close to [her] parents. She cared for her parents, but Joe never helped,” Joe claimed. “Teresa really did try to work it out for [her] parents, but Joe Gorga always put down her family.”
“Melissa and he have been riding our back for years — enough,” he added.
In other RHONJ news, Joe has just announced that he will soon be offering furniture.
“Coming soon real hand made furniture made in Italy delivered to your doorstep anywhere in the world,” he wrote in an Instagram post on March 30. “No middle men direct from the factory no one will be able to compete.”
