Heather Dubrow is setting the record straight regarding rumors that she and her husband Terry Dubrow had dinner with former Real Housewives of Orange County couple Kelly Dodd and Rick Leventhal.
Earlier this week, a photo of Heather and Terry having dinner began making the rounds on social media after an anonymous person claimed Kelly and Rick were also at the table but were simply not pictured.
The photo, along with the anonymous person’s claims, was originally shared by the popular gossip account known as Deuxmoi.
“Heather Dubrow and Terry with none other than…. KELLY AND RICK!” the person who snapped the photo alleged before claiming the foursome were engaged in a “passionate conversation” about the show. The individual went on to name the restaurant — Javier’s in Newport Beach — and they claimed the reality stars were talking “sh*t” about Andy Cohen.
However, though Heather confirmed the photo is legit and that they were having dinner at Javier’s, she shut down the rumor that Kelly and Rick were also present.
“I don’t usually respond to these things, but I wanted to tell you because I hear that [Deuxmoi] is right a lot of times… this is not right,” she said on the June 24 episode of her Heather Dubrow’s World podcast.
She went on to name the couple they were actually having dinner with, stating she could sort of understand why someone may have mistaken her friends for Kelly and Rick due to their hair color.
“I can see from a distance why one maybe think that. Although knowing our relationship, [I’m] not really sure why you would surmise that,” she wondered. “But now that you know [who the couple was], this whole conversation is a fabricated piece of b*llsh*t.”
She added, “Kelly couldn’t have been talking b*ullsh*t because she wasn’t there. I mean, she may have been talking sh*t about someone else from somewhere else, but certainly not from this booth, and certainly not that night at Javier’s.”
Heather concluded her rant about the situation by telling fans to “not believe everything you hear,” and she promised to continue to set the record straight when rumors about her pop up.
Unfortunately, what Heather didn’t address was the shade Kelly threw her way following her firing and the news of the podcast host’s return to RHOC. If fans recall, Kelly referred to Heather as a “snob” in a comment on Instagram.
“I love everyone except the snob [Heather Dubrow],” Kelly wrote.
Heather, along with her season 16 Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars, will reportedly begin filming next month.
