Berhan Shaw reacts to Ramona Singer calling her “embarrassing” on a recent episode of Real Housewives of New York City. Plus, she reveals if she and Sonja Morgan got into a physical altercation.

The newcomer seemingly fit in well with the women when they were first introduced, but things took a shocking turn on the July 13 episode after Bershan called her co-stars “boring.” Following her remark, she began to argue with several of the ladies, including Sonja, who she referred to as a “clown.” Ramona claimed she was embarrassed by Bershan’s surprising outburst, and the motivational speaker is now firing back.

“Come on, Ramona, you’re embarrassed? I mean, all the stuff y’all do, you’re embarrassed by this little b*tch?” she quipped during an interview with The Jasmine Brand. “I mean, come on! It was sort of a little [inaudible] dramatic. Y’all are getting up on the table, calling each other hoes, cursing each other out, throwing stuff at each other… and I’m the one that’s embarrassing you?”

As fans have likely seen in the preview for next week’s episode, Bershan and Sonja seemingly come to blows after their night of drinking and arguing. However, according to Bershan, there was no physical altercation.

“Girl, it’s editing,” she declared, adding, “First of all, I’m never putting my hands on anyone. Let’s be clear. Watch yourself, it’s good, it’s good, it’s good! But you know what, believe it or not, I love Sonja. She’s funny as hell. I really do like Sonja.”

As for her calling Sonja a “clown,” Bershan said viewers didn’t get to see what transpired prior to her remark.

“I said what I said, but it wasn’t because I was trying to put her down. But, like, Sonja’s cool as sh*t. You don’t gotta go all crazy with all the drinking and stuff,” she explained. “When I said ‘clown,’ see, you guys didn’t see the scenes before. That’s why I was like, well… some editing. But Sonja is cool. I’m like, you didn’t have to do all that. And that scene was actually interesting. That came outta nowhere.”

She went on to say that she and Sonja are in a good place now and meet up for drinks from time to time. However, it seems Bershan believes her co-stars aren’t sure how to handle her at times because she’s too real.

“I was the new girl coming in and I was being myself. I was being real and authentic myself,” she shared. “But what I didn’t realize is that these girls don’t know me. And they operate differently.”

“We’re too old,” she continued. “I don’t do all this gotta be this, and gotta be that. Be yourself! And I think I was myself, but the girls were like, ‘Wait a minute. I don’t know.’ That’s what they were like.”

The Real Housewives of New York City season 13 airs Tuesday nights on Bravo at 9/8c.
