Kyle Richards had a rough weekend, and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Teddi Mellencamp‘s weekend was no better.

As Kyle, 52, opened up about a scary bee attack she suffered at her $8.25 million Encino home that left her hospitalized, 40-year-old Teddi spoke of facial injuries she sustained in the middle of the night while experiencing vertigo.

“So this happened yesterday… I walked into a hive of bees and was stung multiple times. If you know me at all you know I am allergic to bees and terrified of them,” Kyle wrote on her Instagram Story, along with a photo of herself in a hospital bed.

Continuing on, Kyle said she felt it was important to share her story with her fans and followers to ensure they do not experience a similar situation.

“I share this story with you because I sometimes don’t bother to take my epi pen with me. I also don’t know why I couldn’t get mine to work. It’s important to look on [YouTube] and watch the videos of how to use it,” she explained. “There are different types of epi pens and they each work differently. But also always call 911 even if you are able to use your epi pen as they have to use other medications to help breathing etc.”

A short time after sharing her photos from the hospital, the RHOBH star returned to her Instagram Story, where she shared a video of herself running from the bees and jumping into her pool.

“I can laugh at this video now but what you can’t see is that they were in my hair and were literally chasing me. My family wasn’t home and for whatever reason the people that work for me couldn’t hear me screaming for help,” Kyle revealed of the frightening situation. “My landline wouldn’t dial 911 and my epi pen was defective and wouldn’t open.”

The day after Kyle was attacked, she got a visit from the Los Angeles Fire Department.

“Still looking like a hot mess with my pool and sting marks,” she wrote in the caption of a photo.

Then, with a second photo, which featured a blotchy-faced Kyle, she told her online audience that the redness in her face was “not going away.”

“Apparently I may be like this for a while thanks to the bees,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, on her own Instagram page, Teddi shared a photo of herself looking battered after suffering a nasty fall in the middle of the night while going to check on her daughter.

“Anyone got any hot tips on how to get rid of Vertigo?” she asked on July 25. “At 4am, Slate yelled out for me to please come to her room and as any Mom would I jumped up at mock speed and sprinted in there. By time I got to her room, my eyes went black and I fainted and busted open my cheek and lip.”

“Luckily all was good with Slate and something worse didn’t happen to me…that being said, I can’t go onto Webmd because it’s sends me spiraling so any tips appreciated,” Teddi continued. “And yes, I will make an [appointment] for doctor but today is Sunday…”

Following Teddi’s post, Kyle weighed in on their dueling accidents.

“We are a good team,” she joked, adding the hashtag, “hot mess express.”

“Put us in bubble wrap,” Teddi agreed.
