Luann de Lesseps isn’t buying rumors that Ramona Singer has been fired from Real Housewives of New York City, and the 64-year-old doesn’t appear to be bothered by the reports either.

Following weeks of conflicting reports regarding Ramona’s future on the show, Luann decided to weigh in on the drama on Monday.

“Listen, Ramona’s an O.G. I can’t imagine Housewives of New York without Ramona,” the Countess told PEOPLE on July 26, adding, “I think it’s all of that, just chatter.”

As fans well know, sources have claimed that Ramona is on the chopping block due to low ratings and racial tensions with newcomer Eboni K. Williams. Furthermore, the star is the highest-paid cast member on the show, and insiders claim she has become “too expensive.”

Ramona also recently denied the rumor, simply writing, “nope,” after a fan asked if she has been fired on Instagram. However, she has stayed relatively mum about said “chatter” since then as she seemingly continues to live her best life while partying with friends.

In fact, the Life on the Ramona Coaster author was spotted hanging out with a few of her “50 girlfriends” in Southhampton, New York, earlier this week according to Radar Online. She reportedly appeared completely unbothered while dressed in a red sundress, which she paired with wedge heels, a matching clutch, and butterfly earrings.

This comes amid reports that the season 13 reunion has been postponed multiple times with the latest September date also being canceled. The trouble reportedly started when Ramona begged producers to ban the topic of race, but they refused to do so. Then, once rumors about her firing began to make waves, she became even more “furious,” and she pulled out of the taping, causing Andy Cohen to “freak out.”

Apparently, Bravo was trying to keep her firing quiet until after the reunion taping, so they’re scrambling to figure out how to handle the situation. Though filming on season 14 has allegedly been pushed back already, there’s talk about the network placing RHONY on a “lengthy hiatus.”
