Below Deck Mediterranean fans are furious with Lexi Wilson as they take to social media to voice their concerns about her behavior while Captain Sandy Yawn also weighs in.
Viewers have come to expect plenty of drama among the crew members on the show, but during the August 2 episode, Lexi took things to a whole new level.
Though the second stew has already butted heads with several of her co-stars, including Chef Mathew Shea, she lashed out at nearly everyone after a night of drinking. She first set her sights on Malia White, calling her a “fake b*tch.” Then she went after deckhand Lloyd Spencer in the hot tub, telling him he’s a “f*cking p*ssy.”
When Lloyd asked Lexi to check her behavior, she responded by grabbing his head and placing it between her breasts, leaving him utterly horrified. At this point, it seems viewers had had enough as they took to Twitter to slam the former Bahamas beauty queen.
One fan wrote, “Beyond disappointed in Lexi.” Then, another replied, “I can relate. I wanted to root for her. She is the 2nd black stew to ever be part of the Below Deck franchise & this is the representation that she brought to the show. You can’t even blame editing on this one. Sad creature.”

Meanwhile, many others felt the incident should be considered sexual assault and questioned what would have happened if a man would have behaved the way Lexi did.
“Lexi putting her breasts in his face is SEXUAL ASSAULT,” one person declared. “[You] could see [Lloyd’s] emotional reaction to the awful boundary violation before he left the hot tub. She should be removed from the show immediately. If a man forced private parts, there would be no question.”

Another tweeted, “Could you imagine if a man was being obnoxious & rude so girl told him to stfu trying to establish boundaries but then the man came & put his [d*ck] in the girl’s face?! Touching someone else without consent is NOT OK. ”

Unfortunately for Lexi, it didn’t stop there as one viewer looking for answers even tagged Andy Cohen.
“[Andy], just watched Below Deck Med. I’m still disturbed from the hot tub scene,” the person proclaimed. “Why isn’t anybody talking about the fact that Lexi smashed her boobs into Lloyd face? He immediately got out of the hot tub totally upset. I feel like I just watched an assault!”

As the crazy incident went down, Sandy was seemingly asleep in her quarters. However, the following morning, both Malia and chief stew Katie Flood attempted to explain the situation, but Sandy chose to give Lexi another shot. She took to Twitter to explain her decision at the time.
“Obviously a tough episode to watch. I see it when you see it,” she tweeted. “A lot happened that I am not aware of at that time, and a lot more is still to come.”

Though Lexi did “apologize” for her behavior the night before, which she claimed she couldn’t remember, fans weren’t buying it.
“If Manipulation and Unaccountability was a person,” one viewer tweeted.
Below Deck Mediterranean season six airs Monday nights on Bravo at 9/8c.
