It’s a good thing Kenya Moore knows how to make a grand entrance because she’s reportedly joining Dancing with the Stars.
As Real Housewives of Atlanta fans well know, Kenya is known for her iconic twirl, and it seems the DWTS producers took notice.
According to TMZ, Kenya be will a contestant on the show’s upcoming 30th season, but she’ll definitely have some stiff competition as gymnast Suni Lee, who recently won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games, is also reportedly tapped to hit the floor.
Kenya is just the latest RHOA housewife to trade in the drama for a pair of dancing shoes as two of her former co-stars, Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak Biermann, also gave it a shot. Of course, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Lisa Vanderpump, Erika Jayne, and Lisa Rinna were also contestants on previous seasons of the show.
This news comes amid Kenya’s messy divorce from Marc Daly, who she married in 2017. The 50-year-old filed for divorce in May and is seeking sole custody of their two-year-old daughter, Brooklyn.
As for dancing skills, it’s unclear if she has any secret moves up her sleeve, but she did show off a few moves in her “Gone with the Wind Fabulous” single that she dropped back in 2013. If fans recall, she even performed the song at Andy Cohen‘s request on Watch What Happens Live.
Kenya does have some experience with competition shows as she also starred on Celebrity Apprentice back in 2015. However, her appearance on that hit show wasn’t exactly drama-free as she struck up a nasty feud with actress Vivica A. Fox, who she later publicly apologized to in December 2020.
