The Real Housewives of New Jersey ladies have reportedly had a lot to say about Teresa Giudice‘s beau, Luis Ruelas, with Margaret Josephs leading the pack.
After it was recently revealed that Teresa unfollowed Margaret on Instagram following an alleged blowout during their cast trip to Nashville, new details of what caused their beef are coming to light.
It was previously reported that Teresa was furious at Margaret once word got back to the mother-of-four that the Macbeth Collection founder had been bad-mouthing Luis. But according to a source close to the women, though Margaret has had the most to say in front of the cameras, she’s not the only cast member who’s concerned about Luis’ alleged past behavior.
“Everyone has been gossiping about Teresa, however, Margaret Josephs has been the most vocal on camera, claiming that Luis Ruelas is a ‘sex addict’ with ‘a history of abuse’ in which she references tales that Louie’s past girlfriends have shared online,” the source told The Sun on Wednesday.
The insider added, “Behind Teresa’s back the women have gone as far as to label Luis ‘an opportunist’ with ‘an agenda’ and proceed to mock Teresa’s intelligence for falling in love with a man who has such a questionable history.”
Not surprisingly, Jennifer Aydin is reportedly the only co-star who’s been “supportive” of Teresa’s hot and heavy relationship with Luis.
If fans recall, Luis’ ex-fiancée, Vanessa Reiser, made some shocking allegations against the businessman when she filed a lawsuit against him in 2020. In the suit, which was obtained by Page Six in April, Vanessa accused Luis of being “sex-obsessed,” claiming he would essentially “punish” her when she didn’t agree to have sex as many as four times per day.
“He demanded that I be available for sex whenever he wanted,” she alleged in court documents “If I objected to his demands, Luis Ruelas would punish me. He would be nasty, withdraw from me, and blame me for what happened.”
Though Luis denied the claims, he did settle with Vanessa out of court for an undisclosed amount. However, news of the lawsuit certainly didn’t help his reputation with Teresa’s diehard fans, especially after it was revealed that yet another one of his exes had also previously filed suit against him, citing “controlling and abusive behavior.”
Following reports of the allegations, Margaret actually weighed in and shared what she had heard, but she seemingly thought the relationship would be good for Teresa at the time.
“I met him briefly,” Margaret said on The Wendy Williams Show in April. “I heard that [he wants sex all the time], but Teresa has to catch up because she hasn’t had sex for a few years.”
Nevertheless, despite what any of her co-stars or Luis’ exes have had to say, Teresa appears to be unbothered as she and Luis are currently renovating the $3.3 million mansion they purchased together in February. It’s unclear if the couple have plans to move in together once the 7,728-square-foot home is complete, but she told Andy Cohen earlier this year that they were in no rush to take that step in their relationship.
“[There’s] no talks about that yet,” she said on Watch What Happens Live in April before stating he wasn’t “nervous” at all to combine finances with Luis so quickly.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
