Garcelle Beauvais believes her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates exhibited blind loyalty to Erika Jayne throughout season 11 as she and Sutton Stracke asked questions she felt anyone would want to know.
During a couple of new interviews, Garcelle looked back on Erika’s legal scandal before dishing on Erika’s encounter with Andy Cohen at the four-part reunion and confirming she’s pitched her friend, Sheree Fletcher Zampino, for a “friend” role on season 12.
“I felt like some people were blindly behind her,” Garcelle said of her co-stars to Page Six on October 12. “They were questions that everybody would ask! That was my thing. I was like, ‘It isn’t that crazy.’ It wasn’t that crazy that we would ask.”
“I just went [into this season] knowing what I want to get out of it and it was really to speak my mind,” she continued, adding that more is to come at the reunion.
“[Andy Cohen] understood the assignment to a T! He went in,” Garcelle shared. “There were tough questions and he didn’t back down. But you know what? Erika didn’t back down either.”
According to Garcelle, she “still feel[s] bad” for Erika and believes the legal drama she was hit with amid season 11 was a “horrible thing to go through.” As for their friendship, Garcelle suggested she is open to mending their fractured friendship, saying that “it’s not over.”
Also this week, Garcelle attended Lisa Vanderpump’s Travel & Give Fundraiser on Monday night, where she said that in addition to hoping for a return from Denise Richards, she also wants Sheree to be brought to RHOBH for season 12.
“I would love if Denise came back,” Garcelle told PEOPLE. “I’ve also been pitching Sheree Fletcher Zampino, Will Smith’s ex-wife. I would love her to be a friend on the show.”
“I would love to have someone I can trust,” she added.
As for her own role on the upcoming season, Garcelle said she’s “open to” coming back.
“It’s just a matter of getting there, really,” she explained.
At the end of August, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Denise admitted she hasn’t completely ruled out an RHOBH return.
“You know, I always say ‘never say never,'” she said. “I really did enjoy working on the show — I shouldn’t even say working on it — I liked being a part of the show. I had fun with most of the women, not all.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 reunion begins Wednesday at 8/7c on Bravo.
