Garcelle Beauvais appears to have had a change of heart about returning to Bravo for the 12th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After previously shutting down rumors that suggested she was “sick of being around the ladies” and would not be returning, Garcelle is admitting that she is “on the fence” while also addressing the recently filmed four-part reunion and the alleged shade she threw at Erika Jayne during a game of “Never Have I Ever.”
“I’m on the fence,” Garcelle admitted to Entertainment Tonight on September 30 of her potential comeback.
While Garcelle wouldn’t say for sure whether she’d be back or not, she did tease the upcoming reunion.
“Four parts!” she exclaimed. “I was shocked. It was… a long day! Long day. … You know, Andy Cohen really went in, and I know some people on social media were saying, ‘Is he going to be too soft?’ I really feel like he asked the questions that people want to know from all of us, especially though from Erika. There were a lot.”
“There’s a lot of different emotions,” she added.
During the latest episode of RHOBH, Garcelle played a game of “Never Have I Ever” with her castmates. And because her answer of choice was, “Never have I ever stolen anything,” many believed she was targeting Erika, who, along with her estranged husband Thomas Girardi, was accused of stealing millions from his former clients months prior.
However, when asked if she was being shady, or if producers encouraged her to make the statement, Garcelle denied any such thing.
“No, not at all. Not at all. The producers had nothing to do with that. We sat down — you have to remember, we’re liquored up most of the time, right? So all kinds of stuff happens. But that was truly like, ‘Let’s play a game!'” she recalled.
Although Garcelle may not be featured on season 12, she said she would love to see Denise Richards, who left RHOBH in September 2020 after being accused of having an affair with Brandi Glanville, back on the show.
“I would love that,” Garcelle confirmed. “But I haven’t heard anything.”
She would also enjoy a return from Lisa Vanderpump, who quit in June 2019.
After it was noted that Lisa had said she’d return to RHOBH if producers axed her former castmates, including Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Dorit Kemsley, and started fresh with Garcelle, Sutton Stracke, and a new group of woman, Garcelle seemed to be on board.
“She did? Wow,” Garcelle replied. “I am not in casting. Don’t get me in trouble! She can do whatever she wants, I’ll say that.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
