Investigators will be tuning into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ new season in hopes of locating potential property and other assets of Erika Jayne.
As she and her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi, continue to be targeted with lawsuits, some of which have accused the attorney of embezzling money from his former clients, one attorney has come forward to suggest he’ll be “transcribing every word” Erika says on the Bravo reality show.
Thomas, who is owing at least $26 million in settlement money, remains under a court-ordered conservatorship run by his younger brother, Robert Girardi, amid an Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, two of the trustees assigned to Thomas’ case have hired attorney Ronald Richards to help uncover Erika’s assets. As RHOBH fans may have heard, Thomas has been accused of using Erika to hide some of his assets from creditors.
“We will be transcribing every word. The show does not provide immunity to its talent,” Ronald recently tweeted.
They also shared an update on the ongoing cases against the once-famed attorney, revealing that investigators have been enlisted to find out what Erika actually has in her possession.
While Erika is attempting to stop the investigation, claiming she only has a few “household items” belonging to both her and Thomas, Ronald could soon be named as a bounty hunter of sorts as he’s given the job of locating her assets.
As the outlet explained, if Ronald’s hiring is approved, he’ll be able to keep as much as 45 percent of what he and another hired counsel seize from Erika.
In the meantime, he and others will be keeping an eye on what goes down on RHOBH.
“If she wears a $150,000 ring, the victims are going to say, ‘That is my diamond.’ If she is going to wear a $10,000 blazer, they are going to say, ‘That is my blazer,'” attorney William F. Savino told the Los Angeles Times.
Amid Thomas’ bankruptcy proceedings, trustees have begun to liquidate a number of his assets and have put the home he and Erika once shared on the market for $13 million.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 premieres Wednesday, May 19, at 8/7c on Bravo.
