Lala Kent shared a tribute to her post-baby body on Instagram on Saturday while also opening up about her insecurities.
Following the conclusion of the ninth season of Vanderpump Rules, Lala took to social media with a photo of herself in a bikini and admitted that while she credits her “bounce back” to genetics, she’s been facing a number of insecurities since welcoming her first child, daughter Ocean Kent Emmett, in March 2021 with her now-ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett.
“I will forever be in awe of the female body. Every single one of them,” Lala began in her February 5 post. “I am aware my bounce back after having Ocean happened quickly- I attribute that to genetics. But, no matter what, we all have insecurities, and they are hard to shake.”
After questioning her fans and followers about their own insecurities, Lala spoke of her own.
“A couple of mine are: my left boob is much bigger than my right, and my left ear sticks out- this one I’ve been insecure about since I was a little kid,” she shared.
Following the post, Lala was met with an Instagram user who suggested that Hollywood always gets back in shape quickly after childbirth.
“It’s Hollywood, doesn’t everyone snap back and it’s just us that have kankles and stretch marks?” the person asked.
“Not at all,” Lala replied. “My left boob is covered in stretch marks, and even tho I’m ‘thin’ my tummy skin isn’t tight like it used to be.”
In another, far more cryptic Instagram post shared over the weekend, Lala, who went through a messy split from Randall at the end of last year, proclaimed that she will “not be silenced.”
“I will not be silenced. Women are so often afraid to speak out because we are afraid of being shamed. No more. WE hold the power. WE will make a difference. WE will not be silenced,” she wrote on February 6.
As Pump Rules fans have surely heard, Lala allegedly caught Randall cheating on her with numerous women in October 2021, just over three years after they got engaged. Since then, Lala has spoken out against her former fiancé on several occasions, even going as far as to diss their sex life on an episode of her podcast.
“I’ve been sober for over three years and I had the same partner… I’ve had sex sober, which I couldn’t wait for it to be over most of the time,” Lala admitted on the January 25 episode of Give Them Lala.
Vanderpump Rules has not yet been renewed for a 10th season.
