Noella Bergener went through a major moment on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. However, despite her tense feud with Heather Dubrow and her therapeutic scream in the woods, a couple of her castmates seemed unconcerned.
After meeting up with Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson for a mine tour, Noella was shocked the ladies didn’t have anything to say about the incidents, during which Noella was slammed as “thirsty” and a “liar,” nor did they ask her how she was doing at all.
“I see Gina and Emily and I’m like… trying to put on my brave face. And neither of them asked me a single question that entire day. They would just talk amongst themselves and not a single time did either of them say, ‘How are you? Are you okay?’ Or, ‘What did you do? Did you eat?’ or anything,” Noella recalled on the April 6 episode of the RHOC: After Show. “It was just a reminder that that’s… my gut of knowing that I’m not in a safe place and that I need to kinda keep that armor on a little bit.”
“But it sucked. It absolutely sucked,” she added.
During another segment of the RHOC: After Show, Noella said that although Shannon Beador had attempted to walk her through a potential apology to Heather, she wasn’t too on board with the concept.
“At this point, the most disgusting thing that’s ever been said to me has been said so I’m not really in a very jovial mood to make peace with somebody who has called me and accused me of some pretty disgusting things,” Noella stated of Heather.
That said, Noella did pull Heather aside for a one-on-one in hopes of bridging the gap between them. Unfortunately, Heather wasn’t willing to have the conversations that Noella was hoping for.
“So she comes and sits down with me… First thing out of her mouth: ‘Well, we’re not discussing that.’ It’s like okay, ‘Well then this.’ ‘Well we’re not discussing that.’ [So] it’s like, ‘Well, how are we gonna have this conversation, hun?’” she recalled. “Like, ‘Listen, I have a lot of respect for you and your family. If I hurt you and your family, my heartfelt apologies. That was not my intention. But you keep painting me out to be some crazy liar and I’m not.’ And she stormed off of that conversation and then goes around the corner to the other women saying that I didn’t apologize.”
According to Heather, she wasn’t hunting for an apology. Instead, she simply wanted Noella to stop repeating claims of her alleged abuse against an RHOC staffer.
“All I wished that she had said was, ‘Hey… I lied about that, I’m sorry about that. Let’s move on.’ And I would’ve been like, ‘Okay. Cool.’ But she kept bringing it up and there was no conversation… I didn’t even need the apology. Just stop saying it,” Heather said. “It’s not true. That’s all I wanted her to do and she just brought it up constantly.”
