Brandi Glanville isn’t happy about statements made by Garcelle Beauvais on Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
Amid the episode, after Garcelle named Brandi as the housewife she was glad was no longer on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she joined before asking host Andy Cohen if she was an actual housewife, Brandi took to her Twitter page, where she clapped back at Garcelle and suggested she has her to thank for her role.
“Was I a housewife? Yes [and] you are welcome for your job and for saying my name…AGAIN,” Brandi tweeted on April 13.
She then retweeted a fan, who slammed Garcelle as a “hater,” writing, “Disregard the haters Brandi. You’re cool. I miss you on the show! I think you’ve always been misunderstood. You’re honest, pretty and smart. And you always made the show more interesting. Hope your kids are doing well. Hugs.”
Brandi, who was featured in a full-time role on RHOBH on seasons three through five, and was also seen in a friend role on season two and in guest-starring roles on seasons six, nine, and 10, went on to give a nod to her authenticity on the series.
“All this means is that I was [and] am authentic so everyone can play f-cking dress up now. Don’t read more into it,” she advised. “See you on [Bravo] good night.”
But she wasn’t done. After retweeting a couple of other supportive messages from her fans and followers, Brandi took aim at Garcelle’s recently canceled talk show, The Real, as she recalled a past run-in with the actress.
“The truth is the last time I spoke with Garcelle she was interviewing me about being a Real Housewife of BH for Hollywood Life yet another one of her talk shows that got canceled,” she tweeted, likely meaning Hollywood Today Live, rather than Hollywood Life.
Brandi added, “This is the fight side of me.”
After getting word of Brandi’s tweets, Andy informed Garcelle of her initial post.
“What? What does that even mean?” Garcelle asked in response.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 premieres Wednesday, May 11, at 8/7c on Bravo.
