Andy Cohen just welcomed a baby girl.
After taking to his Instagram Story to tease his big news with a photo of himself and the John Mayer song “Waiting on the World to Change” playing in the background, the Watch What Happens Live host shared a photo of himself holding daughter Lucy Eve Cohen.
“HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen!” Andy announced on Instagram on April 29. “She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!! Her big brother can’t wait to meet her! Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen. I’m so happy.”
Immediately after his message was shared, Andy was flooded by congratulatory messages from Real Housewives cast members and other Bravo stars.
“This is so beautiful! Ben has a baby sister,” wrote Dorinda Medley, giving a nod to Andy’s oldest child, three-year-old Benjamin Allen Cohen, who he welcomed in February 2019.
“Congratulations,” Kary Brittingham added, along with a series of pink heart emoji.
“Welcome Lucy!!!” said Margaret Josephs. “Congratulations to you and Ben!! Xoxo.”
“Wow congrats,” Garcelle Beauvais shared.
“Andy!! You sure know how to fill everyone’s hearts up with love don’t you,” Craig Conover said in his post.
“Congratulations,” added Kelly Dodd, who also referred to her former boss as “Pops.”
“Yay!!! Congratulations!” Teddi Mellencamp declared.
“Amazing,” Eboni K. Williams wrote. “Congratulations Andy.”
Drew Sidora also weighed in, saying that Lucy is “beautiful,” as Tamra Judge offered her congratulations and Braunwyn Windham-Burke also said that the child was “beautiful.”
When Andy welcomed son Ben years ago, he made his announcement in a similar manner to that of Lucy, writing, “WOW! This is my son, Benjamin Allen Cohen. He is 9 lbs 2 ounces !! 20 inches !! Born at 6:35 pm, PT.”
He also expressed his excitement in becoming a father for the first time.
“I’m in love. And speechless. And eternally grateful to an incredible surrogate. And I’m a dad. Wow,” he gushed.
