A source is sharing how Flip or Flop star Christina Hall is feeling regarding her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, as he prepares to welcome his first child with wife Heather Ray Young of Selling Sunset.
While it wasn’t long ago that Christina and Heather had to be pulled apart at one of her kids’ soccer games, a couple of sources have confirmed that the reality star is in a good place with the couple and hoping to continue co-parenting peacefully with them as she attempts to privately settle her messy custody dispute with her other ex-husband, Ant Anstead.
“Christina is happy for Tarek and Heather. As long as Tarek and her are peacefully coparenting, she is content,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
As fans may have seen, Tarek, who shares two children with Christina, including 11-year-old daughter Taylor and six-year-old son Brayden, announced his and Heather’s baby news on Instagram on Wednesday.
“Surprise!!! Baby El Moussa coming early 2023!!” he wrote in a caption.
“They’re all getting along fine now,” a second source confirmed to Us Weekly. “And hope to continue coparenting peacefully.”
According to the report, the couple hasn’t had “any issues” with Christina since their soccer game spat. And when it comes to Heather’s thoughts on the matter, she’s focused on being healthy and stress-free throughout her pregnancy.
“Heather wants her pregnancy to be as stress-free as possible so she’s putting any drama to the side,” a source shared with the outlet.
As for Christina’s ongoing custody battle with Ant, who she split from in 2021 after welcoming their now-two-year-old son, Hudson, a July 15 report from Radar Online revealed she’s working to settle their dispute privately.
While Christina, who married husband Joshua Hall in April, was scheduled to appear in court this week for a divorce hearing, Ant requested the hearing be pushed to September with hopes of sorting out their issues amongst themselves and avoiding a messy court face-off.
Back in April, Ant made an emergency court filing in which he sought full custody of Hudson, with Christina having alternating weekend visitation. However, the judge denied the request. And the following month, they were ordered to mediation.
Although the ex-couple previously agreed to split joint custody of the child, Ant later accused Christina of creating a dangerous environment for Hudson and accused her of spending just “9 full days each month” with him.
Following the drama, Christina defended herself in a public statement.
“What Ant is doing deeply saddens me. If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested. I have had my share of ups and downs but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them,” she said.
Meanwhile, Heather and Tarek had their gender reveal this weekend as the couple announced they are expecting a baby boy!
