Teddi Mellencamp held an “Ask Me Anything” session for her fans and followers on Instagram on Wednesday night after facing backlash for comments made about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on her podcast.
While also addressing why the cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has yet to appear on Two T’s in a Pod and sharing if her $5.9 million Hollywood Hills home has sold, Teddi spoke to her online audience about the latest drama of The Real Housewives of Dubai and her ideal pick for a part-time co-host as Tamra Judge focuses on her Real Housewives of Orange County return.
“Why can’t you review RHOBH objectively? Tamra was able to review RHOC fairly,” one fan wrote.
“I think that people who enjoy me find that I have been quite objective on the pod but also be mindful of the fact that a lot of these women are still my really good friends, which a lot of the women on [RHOC] kinda turned their backs on [Tamra].”
Another fan wanted to know why the women of RHOSLC haven’t been featured.
“Well [RHOSLC]’s been going through a lot. I’m sure you’ve been seeing all the press on it. So I think I probably have to wait until after the reunion before any of those ladies come on,” Teddi revealed, adding in a caption that she recently met rumored newbie Angie Katsanevas at a horse show.
As for the latest drama surrounding Chanel Ayan on RHODubai, which erupted after she showed up to Caroline Stanbury‘s engagement party in a wedding dress, Teddi said she didn’t understand why Caroline was so upset.
“Oh please, she asked everybody to wear white. Of course, some are going to look like wedding dresses,” she stated.
And shortly after sharing her thoughts, Teddi was met with a comment from Caroline herself, who told the RHOBH alum, “Teddi… It had a train, and she had a blonde wig on.”
Also, during the Q&A, after being asked if she sold her house in the Hollywood Hills, Teddi confirmed she had not, saying, “No,” and encouraging anyone interested to contact Kyle Richards‘ daughter, Farrah Aldujfrie, who holds the listing along with Kyle’s husband and her step-father, Mauricio Umansky.
Also, on Instagram, Teddi revealed that while Tamra will continue to cover Real Housewives shows on their podcast, she isn’t able to cover RHOC, which has left Teddi in need of a part-time co-host.
“My question is, who would you guys want to co-host with me to recap [RHOC]?” she asked in a video. “Let’s dig deep here. I don’t want it to be somebody expected. I want somebody not tied to Tamra at all. Of course, we’ll have different guests, people, on. But I feel like we need somebody watching [RHOC] that is completely blindsided by it. Like, ‘What is happening here?'”
Although it is unclear when a new co-host will be chosen, Teddi suggested Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Cynthia Bailey amid Wednesday night’s Q&A.
“I selfishly would love to have Cynthia Bailey because we have so much fun together, and she was so good when she guested on the pod,” she shared.
Teddi also may be open to having a Real Housewives of Potomac cast member guest host as she said the franchise was “hands down” her favorite.
“We can’t wait for it to start airing. It is so juicy,” she admitted.
