Kim Zolciak‘s 20-year-old daughter, Ariana Biermann, was arrested in Georgia on Saturday on suspicion of DUI.
Following what appeared to be a night out with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, the Don’t Be Tardy and Real Housewives of Atlanta alum was booked in Forsyth County on three separate charges.
According to jail records obtained by TMZ on August 13, the charges include “misdemeanor DUI driving under the influence of alcohol, misdemeanor improper/erratic lane change, and underage alcohol possession/purchase of alcohol.”
Although it is unknown what time of day Ariana was arrested, she was bonded out of jail that same day.
When it comes to Hudson, who is also 20 years old, he was arrested on alcohol-related charges as well, including “DUI, furnishing/purchasing alcohol under 21, and violating his driving permit” before being released on bond. However, it is assumed that Ariana was the one behind the wheel.
Also worth noting is the fact that Ariana was booked under the name Ariana Zolciak, rather than Ariana Biermann, even though Kim’s husband, Kroy Biermann, adopted Ariana and her older sister, Brielle Biermann, 25, in 2013.
In response to the charges against her, Ariana released a statement to TMZ, via her lawyer, Justin Spizman.
“Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender. When police arrived on scene, the investigating officer immediately initiated an investigation for DUI. Despite Ariana’s constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the officer incorrectly concluded she was impaired by alcohol. That was not the case. She wholly denies these allegations and intends to fight these charges because she is not guilty of them,” the statement read.
Kim has not yet spoken out in regard to the claims against her daughter. Instead, on Sunday, she appeared on Instagram with her oldest daughter, Brielle, who she labeled as her “twin.”
“MY TWIN [Brielle Biermann]. We have had the best weekend celebrating [Kash Biermann’s] birthday (it’s tomorrow) he turns 10,” she wrote in the caption of her August 14 photo.
Bravo canceled Don’t Be Tardy in May 2021. Since then, Ariana has been attending college and working on her cosmetic line with Kim and Brielle, KAB Cosmetics.
