Tyler Stanaland was caught getting quite close to his Selling the OC castmate, Alex Hall, during a visit to an Orange County restaurant last week — on the same day that he and wife Brittany Snow confirmed their separation.
As Tyler and Brittany shared statements on their Instagram pages, confirming they were taking some time to make sure they were “living our most fulfilling and authentic lives,” a couple of new reports have linked Tyler to both Alex and Polly Brindle, who also appears on their Netflix reality show.
According to a September 17 report from TMZ, Tyler and Alex visited SOTA in Corona Del Mar last Wednesday evening, where they dined on sushi and reportedly seemed “more than friendly,” although they weren’t being “overly intimate” with one another.
An eyewitness told the outlet that Tyler and Alex were seen touching one another as they exited the venue and ventured side-by-side down the street. And during their time inside the restaurant, Tyler was seen sniffing Alex’s shoulder.

In response to the outing, insiders close to the former professional surfer insisted there is nothing going on between him and Alex, claiming they were simply enjoying a night out with a group of six. They also noted that the entire group was smelling each other’s perfumes while chatting about scents and deodorant.
In addition to Tyler and Alex’s visit to SOTA, the realtors also reportedly visited The Quiet Woman last Wednesday. As an insider told E! News, things appeared to be “steamy” between the two of them as they were spotted outside of the restaurant.
“She was jumping all over him, like trying to pick him up,” an eyewitness shared. “They were very flirtatious with each other outside.”
Meanwhile, once inside, a second source said the group was “pretty loud all night,” noting that it was Polly who seemed to be coming on to the newly single Tyler.
“Polly was sitting next to Tyler and she was also all over him. They were very touchy feely and talking close to each other, arm around each other’s chairs,” the second insider revealed. “So outside Tyler and Alex were all over each other and inside it was Tyler and Polly flirting.”
As for Tyler, the insider said he didn’t seem to mind the attention one bit.
“[He] didn’t seem sad at all that night, he honestly looked like he was very happy and enjoying the single life,” they stated.
